Viral Speak 09-8-2000 I would like to apologize in advance if you are
offended by anything in tonight's Viral Speak. It has been tailored to
be politically correct; but things slip through. Now, ummm.. forget that.
If I wanted to water down content; or say something to pamper you.. that
would be wrong. I think you're cool enough that I don't have to censor
anything. After all, those people who beg for uncensored DBZ, or revel
in counter-culture rock music, or think Dr. Laura is the way she is; because
she hates herself (OR has some sort of sad sexual condition...) deserve
it straight. If you don't feel you deserve to be told something straight.
Then I'm sorry. I can be nothing but "real" to you. It's a not nice thing
to hear; but it makes me feel better. In fact, if I didn't say what was
on my mind, I would go to sleep feeling bad. Enjoy this and take it with
a grain of salt.
I need to ban myself from the Sims. I
keep playing the friggin game every time i turn on the computer. Got any
advice?

Imagine the gameplay! You could make Adrock grow up to be a thief! You
could make Jazz and Ice Blue like each other too much! Yak could run a
Sim Bordello! Akemi and Philip could start a family of Sims! OR you could
stick us all in a house, block the door and watch us grow mad at each other
and eventually destroy each other... or something.. Too bad I can't change
that Gerbil into a Blue Virus...
I am very unimpressed with the amount
of anti-jewish content that has sprung up on your website lately.
Whether it is directed at leiberman or not it is still unprfessional to
poke fun at a particular releigion. how would you feel if other sites
started making christian jokes all the time. I am not Jewish either,
i just find humour like that distasteful and unprofessional. - The man.
Philip: I offended someone. Personally, whatever
your religion happens to be is your problem; not mine. I'm sorry, if jokes
about religions are unprofessional in your eyes. Than Newsweek, Time, People,
The Washington Post, CNN, and millions upon millions of other sites, television
programs, and papers that run editorials and political cartoons are unprofessional.
If you can't laugh at religion; you need to loosen up a little. Those ARE
directed at Lieberman and Gore. I think those two are blatant, hypocritical,
bigots who deserve to have their eyes gouged out by ravens, like in the
opening of Diablo. Mr. Lieberman goes: "I think all children should have
the right to live.. bla blah bla. Now I'll just say no to this ban on Partial
Birth (Late Term and dangerous to the mother) Abortions." Isn't he great?
I mean, if the republicans were against it; he support throwing all unwanted
kids into the Nile. (For the record: I think Abortion should be rendered
un-needed. Support Condoms. After all, an ounce of prevention is worth
a pound of cure. I also think that Abstinence is best for a LOT of people.)
Don't get me started on Bush and Cheney. They should be stretched out in
the middle of the desert to die. I mean, the idiot-boy knows NOTHING about
politics, the world around him, or manners. And when he isn't calling hard
working members of the press names; he's mocking dead people -that he signed
the death papers for- like an inconsiderate.. well.. you know. And Cheney,
well.. Cheney voted yes on many things I don't think he should have. And
then you've got Neo-Nazi Poster Boy Buchanan in the Reform School Party..
I could go on forever like that; but it would be painful to read. If you
wanted to get me rolled up on religion.. than.. you'd be surprised to say
the least. I wish the churches were more organized today, so I would know
which church door to nail a long letter to.
Am I the only one who boo'ed Lars on

Philip: I want to see Lars get replaced by
a machine. I boo'ed too. Oh, I think I would still not like Perfect Dark
GBC.. even if Metal Gear Solid never came out. Because, I didn't think
highly of it at all. It wasn't fun. I suggest Blaster Master: Enemy Below.

of Nintendo Power magazine. Flaming Moose thinks it is badly written,
with short, useless reviews and strategy. Flaming Moose also wonders

Philip: I like the extras they send and their
catalogue. I know the people who write it too. Eventually, I hope to join
their staff and make the magazine better. But, compared to some magazines..
it's decent. I mean, I read only a few magazines now. One of them happens
to be GameFan; so I'll do a shout out to them. Peace! Adrock is a Beastie
Boy. The Avardancer was inspired by The ScrewTape Letters and is a combination
of "Avarice and Dancer". Read: "He who dances with greed."
Will GBA be the next gen savior of all
things 2d ? FPS are nice but I have a Dreamcast and eventually a Cube for
those. Please tell me that Capcom is whole-heartedly supporting the GBA
? Please...

Philip: I want Metal Slug 3. The NGPC one
was horrible.. platform jumping.. bah! I want to repeatedly mash the trigger
and GO GO GO! But, I fully agree with you. Capcom is supporting the cube.
Konami is also heavy set into the Cube and Game Boy Advanced. The GBA will
see a Castlevania game, Wario Land 4, Rayman 2, and lots more. I'm happy
for it's 2D brain.
I got to play Pokémon Silver at
Nintendo's infamous little Pokémon G/S tour yesterday. It's awesome.
:) Your mother has this bank-like setup where you can deposit and withdraw
money. Kinda like EarthBound. My hypothesis is that Serebii will be called
"Seleby" in the English version. That makes sense. Oh, and I also got to
play Hey You, Pikachu! Sloppy graphics, but very fun game. Nintendo even
translated that thing where you say Playstation to Pikachu and he gets
really ticked! The guy on duty was a little surprised when I told Pikachu
to "get it on" with the Goldeen he caught while fishing. :) - Axem Blue
Philip: I think Nintendo is awesome for leaving
that in. What does he do if you say.. dreamcast? If he does the hearts
thing.. then I'll wonder. Sega and Nintendo have been getting along better
these days.... it's almost scary. I mean, Seaman liking Dolphin, Sega and
Media Factory putting Columns and Sakura Wars of GBC and the recent rumour.

Hey, I was surfing along one day, and
i saw this wonderful website..
I was in the pub last night, and a guy
asked me for a light for his cigarette. I suddenly realised that there
was a demand here and money to be made, and so I agreed to light his cigarette
for 10 pence, but I didn't actually give him a light, I sold him a license
to burn his cigarette. My fire-license restricted him from giving the light
to anybody else, after all, that fire was my property. He was drunk, and
dismissing me as a loony,but accepted my fire (and by implication the licence
which governed its use)anyway. Of course in a matter of minutes I noticed
a friend of his asking him for a light and to my outrage he gave his cigarette
to his friend and pirated my fire! I was furious, I started to make my
way over to that side of the bar but to my added horror his friend then
started to light other people's cigarettes left, right, and centre! Before
long that whole side of the bar was enjoying MY fire without paying me
anything. Enraged I went from person to person grabbing their cigarettes
from their hands, throwing them to the ground, and stamping on them.
Strangely the door staff exhibited no respect
for my property rights as they threw me out the door. - BVP

You know.. music is just like fire. Who owns fire? Who owns music? In truth.
GOD owns the music. If God didn't give you vocal cords.. you could never
sing. So, in a sense, your music is not your own property. It's GOD's property
and God wants you to SHARE.
ok, 5 reasons why starcraft is better
than diablo 2:
1.ok, mabye im old fashoned, but in my opinion
strategy is much better than mindlessly blowing the heads off of random
guys
2.in starcraft, you dont throw up your lunch
when you kill a guy
3.you dont need a brain to play diablo2, just
the ability to press buttons fast
4. now, isnt it just great when you spend 150
minerals for 6 scourges to blow up you opponents battlecruiser?
5. starcraft has... dare i say... REPLAY VALUE!

Philip: I happen to like Eminem. Although,
I don't agree with many things he says. I think he has talent and I respect
him for it; even if he IS useing it in the way he that he is. My opinion
on people who practice that lifestyle is a bit different. I don't care

Philip: Yes. I'm not as good a poet as some
of the poets I admire.. no I''m far from the genius of Emily Dickinson,
Walt Whitman, Robert Frost, Shel Silverstine, or Theodore Giessel. Although,
poetry wise.. I could clobber Jewel any day of the week. Site wise.. I
would say that Captain Scott (N64HDQ), Andrew Vestal(SquareNet), Niels
T. Hoft(ZHQ), and pretty much everyone at Nintendorks are my heroes. I
doubt I'll ever be as good as them. Especially Andrew Vestal and Captain
Scott. But I can try.

DX last night and I love it soooo much
I think it's kewl how you can get those little
rupples (I call 'em gems) and that you can recut the grass and plants over
and over again to get more and also get those little hearts for your health.
Geez, I know I'm going to be wasting a lot of
batteries on this game before p_fish forces me to give it back to him.
