Philip: Hey.. I was like "Looks okay.. don't know though." But, it was on SALE; so I thought. "Yeah! I'll get it!" I think it's awesome. Jazz says it may be better than Perfect Dark. I for one think it is better than Donkey Kong 64. Although.. I dunno about better than Perfect Dark.. I mean, not the N64 version. Oh, Rare! For a sequel.. I want to be able to grab and drag a gaurd. Why? Because. I think it would be great to grab a gaurd by the shirt and drag him kicking and screaming to the side of the roof and throw him off. Could you imagine multi-player then? And if they made only bottomless pit falls deadly, it would be more interesting. No weapon? Sneak up a player, disarm him, then grab him and slam him into a wall to temporarily blind him. Then grab his gun and frag him. Imagine fighting in the temple of the facilty! Is someone trying to climb up the grates in the bathroom? Grab 'em then, smack 'em against the stall wall, toss 'em over a railing to get 'em away from you! Grab boxes and loose articles to use them for blocking a door temporarily.

Hey, Philip. I gotta question for you? What do you think is going to happen with the next-generation console wars? This is what I think. Dreamcast will die when PS2 and GameCube come out like Saturn did when PSX and 64 came out. PS2 is gonna do really well for a bit until GameCube comes out then it would be GameCube vs. PS2 like it was 64 vs. PSX. Then Microsoft is gonna come out and be like the next Sony. That's kinda like a summed up version, what do you think is gonna happen? - Ramzi

Philip: That's probably about right. Although, I support the Dreamcast. It has a better software line-up then the PS2. I mean, PS2 has precisely ONE game that I think is nifty. Metal Gear Solid 2. Look at the Sega line-up. Online sports games, Space Channel 5, Jet Grind Radio, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, Phantasy Star Online, Shen Mue, Chu Chu Rocket, Seaman, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Samba De Amigo, Sonic Adventure 2, Soul Caliber, Quake 3 Arena, Half Life, Unreal Tournament, and many more. It's a much more varied line-up then the current PS2 software in Japan.

Okay, I've got to go on a little rant about something that's been bugging me: Pokébashing.
Case in point: www.pokemoncafe.net. I've talked to the kids that run it (They're like, 13 and 14) and they seem nice.
Then bring up Pokémon.
They'll fly off the handle, "Oh God Pokécrap sux foo!" and stuff like that. But let's examine this. They say that they hate it, but they have a site that, although it's all negative, is devoted to it. Not only that, but the REGISTERED A DOMAIN NAME just so that the could bash Pokémon. Doesn't it seem odd that they are REALLY into this? They tell why they turned to Pokémon haters, but it's always all about the card game, and how Nintendo was making "Too Much Money". Screw the card game! I hate the Frickin' cards! I hate every other aspect of the whole Pokémon phenomenon! "TOO MUCH MONEY"? It's capitalism, people! Look at the NGC screens - That's Pokémon at work. All the cards, the Burger King Kid's Meals, the party favors, school supplies, even that fruity anime - The money that Pokémon made is paying for Metroid, Zelda, and everything Nintendo has to offer! But it's about the hate of GB games that gets to me. People instantly assume that Pokémon is "A little kid's game" It's a deep, involving RPG that anybody can get into if they just put aside their prejudice.
People are too concerned about their "Image" of "Coolness" to bother with "A little kid's game." Face it, you can't be "cool" to everybody. Look, people, if you don't like it, fine, but shut up about it and let us enjoy it. Why put so much effort into something if you hate it?

(The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Prince Caspean, The Voyages of the Dawn Treader, and A horse and his Boy.) Why not do the Space Chronicles, or Tolkien's "Middle Earth" books that way? Oh, D&D the Movie.. is it going to rock or what?

Philip: I thought it was bad on many levels. Rare should have.. changed it completely. It seemed thrown together and well.. bad. Rare isn't doing so hot with their GBC games. Although Mickey's Racing Adventure was brilliant. Unless something goes horribly wrong.. Donkey Kong Country is dead on damn good. Although, Mega Man X was game of E3. With Warlocked, DKC, and Cannon Fodder close behind. Not to mention Daikitana GBC and Gauntlet Legends; both good.
