Philip: Still waiting. ^_^ But.. don't feel sorry for me. I've actually managed to get an obscenely good deal on a GBA. And waiting isn't tough at all. Because.. (BWA HA HA!) I have a huge list of Game Boy and Game Boy Color games I need to finish reviewing. Yeah. So, don't cry for me. Although.. hey.. if you got more than one GBA.. I wouldn't mind being sent one. ;)

I had the greatest weekend! On Friday Sarah was at a friends' house so Chip, Joshua and I went to Green Dragon (a local flee market only open on Fridays). We each found one special thing to bring home. Joshua got a Nascar model kit, Chip found a Dale Jarret leather belt and matching belt buckle, and I snatched up a giant stuffed pikachu for 8 dollars. You probably saw them at Toys-R-Us...they go for $30 retail. So then Saturday morning I'm off to the mall to play cards at the Pokemon Trading Card League. I won all 3 games and got my first badge from the new book. Right across from the bookstore where we play is a Pokemon and Magic Card shop, so I hopped on over there and spied a folder of special cards for $25. Guess what I got? Nine pikachu's from around the world. Each one is in a different language, and I got the happy birthday pikachu and the ANA airlines flying and surfing pikachu's among others! Oh Happy Day!!! - pikamom

Philip: Wow. That's one Pika-BARGAIN! Oh, not to be rude.. but I kinda thought the line where you said "Chip found a Dale" was kinda funny. It reminded me of Rescue Rangers. ^_^ That was a good NES game... and a decent series. Although.. I was really into Ducktales, Talespin, and Gummi Bears more then Rescue Rangers. But Rescue Rangers had one of the best Theme Songs.. okay.. well.. it had a better theme song the Talespin, and the later added "Raw Toonage". Marsupulami!

This GBA thing looks pretty good--I've already reserved one. What I think would make this utterly own is if SNK brought over their pocket fighting games to the GBA, modifying them to take advantage of the four buttons. Or perhaps they could even do something like a Samurai Shodown remix--imagine having Nicotine-Slash vs Sogetsu-Bust or
Taisan-Slash vs Amakusa-Slash or...
Well you get my point. Victory is pretty much assured for the GBA, but if they got SNK on board...

Philip: SNK really should pull their loses, and start making games through Takara or on their own for the GBA. They could pull off an arcade perfect Metal Slug on the GBA, and they could put SNK vs Capcom 2 on the GBA just fine. Oh, question.. whatcha think.. the GBA can run 300 polygons, smoothly.. Tony Hawk has proved this.. could it do a "port" of Samurai Shodown 3D? Although.. I want a port of the first Virtua Fighter from Sega.. that would rule!

I'm gone, for what? Two months, and when I come back my favorite messageboard in the whole world is gone! Do you know how many memories I had in that place?! I found mine Monday morning. Didn't even realize it...I thought it was just another DB Saber, since it had a low ATA. After using it online, though, I have found out why people love it:
A. Hit many baddies at once
B. Really cool-looking to use
C. I am instantly a respected diety among gamers
