WWF: Road To WrestleMania Game by THQ Reviewed by The Meteoslasher Meteoslasher@hotmail.com Released: 2001 Size of Cartridge: 32 Mbit Save Feature: Password for season mode. Works with: Game Boy Advance Only Opening Snide Remarks: I expected something great out of this game due to THQs success with their other WWF titles, but I was very dissapointed. Gameplay: This game isn't fun at all. It's like a game of luck; you get into a grapple and the computer decides whether you or the opponent should get the move through. Everybody has the same moves except for the signature moves. Graphics: The gameplay might be lousy, but the graphics are a little pleasing to the eye. Every character looks like they do in real life. The ring and crowd look pretty well too. Sound: Disgusting sound effects that are repetitive and very annoying. Music: Every wrestler comes out with their tunes that are heard on TV. Other than that, there's no other real music. Play Control: Awful. From the bad reaction of the grapples to the slow jerky feel of walking. It's pretty sad, being that THQ made the first wrestlers that walked away from the slow moving wrestling games. Final Analysis: Slow, lackluster gameplay pretty much makes up this game. You'd think it'd just be fun playing as you're favorite wrestler (like WCW Meyhem) but it isn't. This game may be worth buying when it's 7 dollars at Funcoland (Or your local used game vendor), but that's it. Score Gameplay: 0/5 Graphics: 4/5 Sound: 2/5 Music: 3/5 Play Control: 0/5 Final Score: 36% Currently Known Codes: None that I know of. They wouldn't make the game fun anyway.
