Worm Light Nyko Reviewed by Mew2001 Compatible with: Gameboy Pocket and Color Size: Sticks 2 inches from side of GBC and sits 3 inches above the screen. Price: $9.99 (US dollars) Opening Snide Remarks: Who would have ever imagined. A light for the gameboy that doesn't include an annoying magnifier! You may be thinking: It's third party, it must be crap. But that would be wrong. Impressions: I've had my Worm Light for about two weeks, and love it already. It's amazing, and very cool, that Nyko was able to draw power from the link port for this device. The light is actually a small white LED (light emitting diode). The package says it will last forever, so I can't comment on blub life. I assume it will last a very long time, but if it doesn't, there is a one year warranty. It looks small, and cheap, but it most certainly is neither one. Liked: There is hardly anything (in my opinion) not to like (sorry about the double negative) about this device. I love the fact that it requires no batteries of its own, no more buying two different sizes of batteries. I also love the fact that it's tiny. It adds no noticable weight to my GBC, although it lights up the screen exceptionally well. Hated: You can't use a game link cable while using the Worm Light. I can't say anything about how it shortens battery life because I haven't had it long enough. Other than that, I can't think of anything else bad to say about it. Final Words: All in all, the Worm Light is worlds better than any light/magnifier I have ever had the displeasure of using. I suggest you go to your nearest Babbages, Electronics Boutique, or Best Buy and buy yours as soon as you finish reading this review.
