Vegas Stakes Game by Hal Laboratory Reviewed by Shaun The Dragon Slayer shaunthedragon@hotmail.com Size: 2 megabits Save: 3 save slots Released: 1995 Works with: All Game Boys Opening Snide Remarks: I like casino games so this is probably gonna be a good game. Gameplay: Really hard at first, but after you get lucky a couple of times, it catches on. Special events like horse races and boxing sometime show up if you are at a table for awhile. People also talk to you and you can do everything from getting pickpocketed to taking an apprentice gambler to investing in oil companies. Graphics: No special color here. It does support Super Gameboy though. Sometimes hard to read numbers on cards but that's about it. Pretty good all in all. Sound: The sound when you put down a card gets REALLY annoying but everything else is okay. Music: Music changes from casino to casino. There is sleepy to tacky to techno to classical. It can get annoying though. Play Control: Control is limited to menus and that is it. Easy to use interface very well done. Final Analysis: A good game to have on roadtrips, flights and family reunions. A good bit of fun on the exalted Game Boy.
