Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: "Fall of the Foot Clan" Game by Ultra. Review by The Avardancer Size: 512 Kilobits Save: None Released: 1990 Works with: Any version of Gameboy Opening Snide Remarks: I remember when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were the bomb. I happen to like the good ol' TMNT cartoons. (I've never seen the the live action show but if it's like "Turtles in Time" than I probably don't want to see it.) This game is by Ultra, they made the awesome Operation C. I certainly hope that they made this game awesome too. Gameplay: You can go to the last level right off the bat. Cowabunga! (Gee, I never realized how very stupid that phrase sounds...) This is a reaction game. It's a side scroller with bosses and bonus rounds. If it moves, hit it. Still, it's very fun. It's a little mindless; but it's a great game and has a feeling to it that is similar to Operation C. Graphics: The graphics are detailed and great. Too bad this was made before the Super Gameboy. Krang looks like Krang, Shredder looks like Shredder. And to top off such nice graphics; there is added animation to the graphics. For example, Michaelangello spins his Nunchuks when he walks. You can even break stuff that is in the background. The backgrounds in some areas scroll. The enemies are detailed too. Foot Soliders look like they should. Eek! Mousers! Sound: Basic sounds that fit the actions on screen to a tee. Music: The TMNT theme is here and the rest of the music isn't bad, either. Play Control: Responsive, and quick. Easy to understand and you can customize it. Final Analysis: If you even remotely like TMNT, you should get this game. it's really well made and it's fun. If you don't like TMNT, skip it. I borrowed this game from a friend and I must say. It is excellent. If I see it in a store; I will buy it. :) Score: Gameplay: **** Graphics: **** Sound: ** Music: **** Play Control: **** Total: 18 out of 25 Final Score: 72% Currently Known codes: Bonus Games: Go to the level select screen and press A + B + Select. You should hear a tone. At the far right side of the screen, a question mark (?) will appear. Click on it to play all the bonus games. (This is for practice only, though.) Restore Life: Pause the game then press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. Unpause the game and your life will be full! (I mean, your health meter will be full. Your life will be just as empty as before. Sarcastic grin.) Note: This code can only be used once per game.
