Return of the Jedi Game by Black Pearl Reviewed by fonebone12 kermit167@yahoo.com Size: 2 Megabits Save: Password Released: 1995 Works with: Gameboy **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: I was always a Star Wars fan. I always thought that the star Wars games were good so I picked it up. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Descripion: The game is basically a platformer. The difference is 1. It's based on a movie, and 2. You can choose different characters. This also gives the game plenty of replay value. There aren't many levels but it stays very true to the movie, it wins my brownie points. Liked: Good form of replay. Hated: Not many levels. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: The graphics are good. I love how the developers had knowlege on the movie. This results in Luke dressing in black, and Leia bearing her Boushe disguise. Also there are many, many enemies. These include Bo'Marr Monks, Salicious Crumb, and tons of more SW characters. Liked: The relevant characters, and the lightsaber. Hated: The sprites are somewhat small. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: The sounds are par.. But the music is beautiful. There are tons of remixes of the SW themes and more. Crank it up! Liked: Music! Music! Music! Hated: Nothing **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: Game Design is par. The game is short but there are different difficulty settings and different characters which add to replay. There isn't much need for a map or battery save. Play control is also good. Liked: Replay, and different gaming Genres. Hated: A little bit short. **************************************************************************** Improve: No need for a sequel. RIYL: The other two SW games. **************************************************************************** Final Words: If it's cheap... Pick it up. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: *** Graphics: **** Sound/Music: **** Play Control/Game Design: *** Personal Opinion: **** Total: ****************** Final Score: 72% **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: none.
