Radar Mission Game by Nintendo Reviewed by The Avardancer Size: 1 Megabit Save: None Released: 1990 Works with: Any version of Gameboy Opening Snide Remarks: Battleship. Nintendo Style! There's TWO games in this one. Cool. I think. Well, let's check it out... Gameplay section: Hmm. This is better than I thought it would be. There's a Battleship type more with three CPU opponents. That one is fun. But there's also a "3-D" first person view "Search and Destroy" game where you must hunt down and destroy the enemies before they get you. Both are quite fun; the second one is great in Two-Player mode. :) Three round battles make it long too! It gets tough... Graphics: It looks clear and can be seen well on Gameboy. There's NO Super Gameboy support in the title; but there are some nice victory cut-scenes. The "3-D" Game B is great looking too. The graphics are very nice and make this good title better. Sound: Is it a hit or a miss? The sound is important; and you won't mind it at all. The sound effects are clear. If have a certain option you can use the sound to figure out if you almost hit your enemy in Game A. Music: The Title screen music is great; some of the other music is great too; but it really doesn't have a real role in the game; except to let you know when you're going down faster than Mary Blige. It's upbeat and "Military" sounding. Play Control: The Control is dead on and realistically presented. Very good job Nintendo! The controls are responsive and the game is well done and easy to get in to. Final Analysis: Do you like battleship? This is a great version of that game; but it really cleans up with another player. Where's my Radar Mission 64? This is an EXCELLENT game; although finding it may be hard to do right now.
