Jungle Cards expansion. System/accessory by Wizards of the Coast Reviewed by MagmaDragoon Released: 1999 Height: 3 & 1 half in. Width: 2 & 1 half in. Depth: You wanna measure it? Use with: Hands, hopefully. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Opening Snide Remarks: Yes, I am reviewing cards. But not just any cards. I'm reviewing Pok`emon cards. The ones I'm reviewing are ONLY the Jungle cards, but you may hear a comment here or there about cards from series one. I am slightly Baised towards Grass (lucky thing this new set is all BUT grass) since that's my deck type, but I'll be fair ass possible. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Impressions: New cards! Finally! And some of them are better than ANY card from the old series. Now there are cards which can damage bench Pok`emon (Pikachu) , kill ANY opponent in ONE hit(Vileplume) , and look at prize Cards (Mankey)! Liked: The new, powerful Pok`emon Hated: Goldeen.Seaking. 10-30 damage, wow.Snorlax. The highest retreat cost YET, And you need 4 energy to do a measly 30 damage, whoopee. Not all of the cards are perfect. the ones above aren't even worth wasting the paper they're printed on! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Improve: Clefable, an excellent Pok`emon, can be hard to get out if you don't have enough money to get worthless US Clefairies(YES, THOSE 40 HP WIMPS ARE WORTHLESS!), so you need usually to get some JAP Clefairies at tournaments, like me. Couldn't they have made Non-star rarity versions of Evolved Star-rarity Pok`emon like Pideot and Clefable? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Final Words: Get some of the new Jungle, and ADD them to your OLD deck. Don't make a whole new one. They are better as Compliments to Power-starved decks. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Score: 87% +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Secrets: LOOK FOR MISPRINTS AND PROMO PIKACHUS! A few Promo Pikachus were tucked away (by ACCIDENT!) in Jungle Boosters. And my brother had a Jungle Electrode with the same picture as the normal one!! The idiot traded it away, of course.
