Opening Snide Remarks: Well, I imported this baby from Japan, mostly
because I thought it would have the cool techno music that plays during
the battle scenes on the anime. I was wrong. It has a few songs from the
show, and from what I could tell, original song made for the album and
music from commercials. I'll try to review it the best I can, since I
can't read a lick of Japanese.

Impressions: Well, it plays music, so I guess it's functional. So now I
will list all 15 tracks and give my impressions on each one

#1 Pokemon Theme
This is the Pokemon theme song in Japan, and it rocks! I've actually caught
myself humming this tune on several occasions. It is very catchy and sounds
a lot better than the US Theme song, with lots of character and Pokemon
voices throughout it.

#2 ? ? ?
You got me on this one. It sounds like it's a commercial.

#3 Pokemon Countdown
This is the Japanese version of the Pokerap. The DJ actually says some
English, but it doesn't make any sense.

#4 Goodnight Pikachu
A very sweet lullaby being sung to Pikachu by a female vocal. Very soothing.
I often get very sleeply listening to this. Who needs Jigglypuff's song?

#5 Pokemon Theme
This is just the instrumental version of track #1. Very cool

#6 Team Rocket Rock
This is cool. This is the super extended version of the song Team Rocket
sung in Song of Jigglypuff. Jessie and James are the main singers, while
Meowth joins in occasionally, though he's not as tone deaf as his American
counterpart. They also get into a fight with each other about a minute and
a half into the song. They also recite the Team Rocket motto!

#7 ? ? ?
It sounds like an original song made up for the album. I have no idea
about this one

#8 Meowth's Song
This is the song that Meowth sang in Go West, Young Meowth. He's singing
about learning how to be human to impress a female Meowth. Cool, but the
Japanese Meowth sounds like an old lady...

#9 Team Rocket Rock
The instrumental version of track #6

#10 Meowth's Song
The instrumental version of track #8

#11 ? ? ?
Another original song. It features a male vocal with a bunch of kids
singing in the background.

#12 ? ? ?
I have no clue about this one. It features farm noises

#13 Pokemon Countdown #2
This is another version of the Japanese Pokerap.

#14 ? ? ?
Your guess is as good as mine.

#15 ? ? ?
I really need to learn Japanese.

Hated: About the last five tracks on the album

Improve: Well, I really wish they could've had more music directly from
the anime, but I found there is a separate soundtrack dedicated to that.

Final Words: I would recommened it to anyone who is a Pokemon fan and
doesn't mind the Japanese lyrics.
