Whew, 78-Page passwords. Released: 2000 Works with: GBC Exclusive **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: I have spent many, many hours playing Heroes of Might & Magic 3 on my computer. Acutally one of the few demos I ever played that compelled me to purchase it. I expected a lot. 3D0 has always had great graphics and control in games. Would this cart of a classic do justice? Let's find out on: Who wants to be a Dragonair? **************************************************************************** Gameplay Descripion: For $100. The gameplay is A)Lengthy B)Too Short C)Overly Complex D)Foy JayGee1:I'd like to use a lifeline. Regis:Sure, which one? Jaygee1:I'd phone-a-friend, but I don't have one so, I'll poll the audience. Regis:Audience please respond to the question. A=66% B=10% C=20% D=4% JayGee1:I pick A Regis:Is that your final answer? Jaygee1:You just won $100! Well, the gameplay is lengthy, games can last between 15 minutes and you lose or 3 hours and you win. While the PC version had campaigns, all you can do on gameboy is play random maps. While fun, they miss out on what had a big involvement on the game. Regis: For $200, is HOM&M: A)lacking a story mode B)Only has a story mode C)is a Foy D)is shaped like a Foy JayGee1:The answer is A, final answer. Regis: You just won $200! Regis: For $300, how many players does HOM&M support? A)1 B)3 C)2 D)None, it isn't a game. JayGee1:The answer is, F, wait, no, A! HOM&M has only one player, but multiple computers, if you want! 3 Question Recap: Liked: Many Scenarios Hated: No story mode? 2p? No! **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: Here come the graphics: Regis: For $400, are all the units: A)Plastic Looking B)Well Animated C)True to the PC's 3rd game D)Foy JayGee1:Well, The graphics are small, paltry and kinda washed-out, but their animations are well made and stay faithful to the first incarnation on the PC. Too often we forget that this is a gameboy here! Those are pretty nice graphics. Look at Mario Land for pete's sake, those are crappy graphics, hell, his nose takes up a considerable portion of his body! B) Final Answer. Regis:This has to end soon, me and Kathy Lee are busy tonight, but nevertheless, you win $400! Regis:For $500, is the system for recruiting people: A)Smelly B)Foy C)Complex, but with a nice learning curve D)Too easy to tell, because the long answers are generally the better ones JayGee1:Well, the GUI used for recruiting people is different from HOM&M3, because you select boxes and click people. But the gameboy has neither touch-screen nor mouse. They did a good job. Liked: Animation Hated: There is no FMV **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: Regis:For $32,000, (We move pretty fast in DMGICe World) is the sound: A)Symbolic and Heroic B)Foy C)Non-Existent D)Scratchy and boring Jaygee1: Stop with the foy, the last 10 questions, Foy this, Foy that, is that all that matters to you? Anyways, the sound is boring. THe music is nothing spectacular, and the sound effects aren't mindblowing. It's average, D, final answer. Regis: You won $32,000 and somehow have all your life-lines. Liked: Nothing in particular Hated: Nothing in particular **************************************************************************** Regis: For $500,000, is the play control: A)Slimy yet satysfigning. (I can't spell) B)Foy C)Fay D)Pretty damn good considering the GBC has no mouse! Jaygee1:Life-line please, 50/50. Regis:Computer (Even though I know it is some guy who picks the two most obvious wrong answers) leave us with two answers, one wrong and one right. C)Fay D)Pretty...ah hell, you know it's D, you win $500,000 Yeah. For movement, they did damn well on the GameBoy Color. The movement is in hexes, so it isn't that hard to select places to go. As in battle, it is great, too except for finding out who is the person that will currently attack. The terrain is varied, selecting between EXP and GOLD is kinda hard. All in all, vetty good! Liked: Movement Hated: Foy hasn't been an answer yet **************************************************************************** Improve: 2P, custom scenario making, story mode, MORE save slots. GBA version with up to 8 people, Foy is a hidden character, Mouse. RIYL: WarLocked, FF Legend 1-3, ok, I am starving for Ideas here, there aren't many Turn Based Simulations for the Boy of Game. **************************************************************************** Final Words: For $1,000,000, what answer is getting annoying: A)Foy B)Fay C)Foyusa D)Fayusa Jaygee1:Phone-A-Friend, uhm, howz about Akemi? Hee hee hee. Regis: Sure, the folks at AT&T will hook you right up. Akemi? This is Regis Philibuster, from Who Wants to Be a Dragonair. Akemi: Really, is it that creep JayGee1? JayGee1:Yep, it's me, but won't you help for, I dunoo $250,000? Okay A)Foy B)Fay C)Foyusa D)Fayusa Akemi: Money! Yay, uhm A, Foy! Jaygee1:Reeg, A, final answer. Regis-Regis-Binks:Yousa Dragonair! Yousa gotsa 1,000,000 exp. What? Dragonair is evolving? Dum dun Dum dun Dum dun Dum dun Dum dun Taa-daa!
