Game Shark Pro (Version 3.0) System/accessory by InterAct Reviewed by Super SaiyaMew (supersaiyangoten@hotmail.com) Released: 2000 Use with: Color, pocket, Advance when it comes out +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Opening Snide Remarks: It was my worst enemy. I, the Game Genie fanatic. I, whose PKMN perfect game was erased by this. I shunned the GS. Little did I know what I had missed. When I got one, I found out how useful it is. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Impressions: This is a black device with the same dimensions as the Mega Memory Card. The only difference is the black shell and the button on top. Other than that, still the same. When you boot it up, you can Enter codes (a one-time use thing), List codes (go through a list of preset codes to turn on) Code create (a messed up function that I think no one knows how to work...) and the 'Options' which just cleans out the RAM (I haven't used it. Does it just delete the stuff you added, or does it delete EVERY CODE?). It has many games listed, and usually 2-3 codes each. You can add codes to a game's listing, though. So now you can enable Goro in MK1, Shao Kahn, Smoke, and Jade in MK2, and Shao Kahn in MK3. Yay! However, some of the the codes aren't as good as you hoped. For example, take Metroid II. The code for Infinite Health just raises your health to one spot and keeps it there. Sounds good, right? Well, that sound of life raising is CONSTANTLY going, and when you turn off the code your life drops down to where it should be... leaving you to die usually. Also, unless you have your game backed up, I wouldn't recommend using it on PKMN. Every time I use it on Red/Blue, soon after my game is erased one way or another. You can use it, but be careful... Liked: Pretty good codes, nice look (sparkly), characters in MK games (!!!) Hated: Some codes make the game bad, PKMN screws up, Code Creator sucks (maybe not, but does anyone really care about it?). +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Improve: Make it like a DexDrive! More codes built in! Make codes work better! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Final Words: Although the GSPro is better than the old V. 2.1, V. 3.1 is so much better. Get that instead. Get a Code Breaker, too. Or get a Code Breaker/GS Advance, and all is good. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Score: 60% +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Secrets: Place it in your microwave to summon the fifth Horesman of the Apocalypse: Stupidity! Followed by the 'other four' which include Cool People (Don't you just hate them?) and People Being Thrown Into Fish!
