Opening Snide Remarks: This looks cool...an accesory to keep my GBC
from getting hurt. The website says it's licensed by Nintendo. I'd like
to keep my GBC in good shape, so I hope this is good.

Impressions: The Color Protector is made of thick rubber that protects
the GBC from being damaged when dropped. Since it extends in front of
the border of the screen, it also protects the GBC from most scratches.
It covers the sides of the GBC and some of the back up to the cartridge
slot. It also covers around the screen, along with the bottom part of
the GBC's front up to the words SELECT and START. It has holes for the
volume control, A/C jack, on/off switch, headphone jack, battery cover,
battery light, and speakers. It doesn't cover the top of the GBC, so
you can use the Infrared Communications Port. However, the arrow above
the screen that shows you how to line up the GBCs for use of the
Infrared Port is shown in the wrong place. No big deal, but something I
should note. It also has two rings on the top of the sides for
attaching a carrying strap that is included. I should also say that
neither Rumble Pak games, Game Shark/Genie, or Game Boy Camera will fit
with the Protector on. Also, it makes the GBC a bit bulkier, which can
be a good or bad thing, depending on your taste. If you're confused by

Liked: Protects GBC from drops and most scratches, makes it a bit
bulkier (could be a good thing), comes with a carrying strap, licensed
by Nintendo

Hated: Rumble Pak games, Game Shark/Genie, and Game Boy Camera don't
fit, makes it a bit bulkier (could also be a bad thing), Infrared Port
arrow in wrong place

Final Words: This is a great accesory if you carry your GBC around a
lot or get a lot of scratches. Plus, it's pretty inexpensive, about
$8.00.
