SONY PSP: The
third foray into the handheld world by mega corporation Sony. The first
two being their ill-fated and rarely seen Pocket Station for the Play
Station system as well as a few false starts in the form of an
investment in Bandai's Wonder Swan, as well as various small Personal
Media Players and Music Players. The Sony PSP is the result of years of
research and development. Sony has created -in their minds- the be all,
end all Personal Media Player. The 32-Bit Sony PSP boasts the use of an
Universal Media Disc system that resembles Sony Mini-Discs only
slightly. These UMDs are capable of holding 1Gigabyte of information
and deliver music, movies, web browsing, photos, and games. The Sony
PSP features a very large screen, and the ability to play wirelessly or
online via WiFi. Sony hopes that the PSP will be the beginning of a new
