Importationality Done by A Deviant Weirdo. - The European versions of Pokémon Red and Blue will display Super Game Boy Colors in the Game Boy Color.. just like the US Pokémon Yellow will. The European Versions will be fully compatible with the US games as well. Although... if you import the game.. be forewarned that they are in English.. not American.. so they may be hard to understand. - In Japan, the Mail-Order Only Pokémon Blue will be commercially released on October 10th. - Epoch's Silveria Family -already covered before- is in a way.. a "Gardening RPG". Umm.. yeah. - Old News I forgot to cover = The Kansas City Star covered Pokémon in their Business Section -yes I read that- and some "Top Finacial Pundits" say that the Pokémon Franchise should "wane" over by the first quarter of 2000. Pikachu Shocks the World. Or rather Game Boy and Nintendo sales. Sales of Game Boy hardware shot up 249% from last year, and software sales jumped up 192% as well. That's good. And there is more boring details to bore you with; but instead of those.. you can read the whole press release by clicking the link below. -PAW- "Press it harder!" Hasbro is Wizard. Wizards of the Coast -makers of the Pokémon Collectable Card Game- has been bought for $325 Million Dollars. What does this mean? Hasbro makes toys, and also *gasp* video games. They own Milton Bradley, Tiger, Galoob, and now Wizards of the Coast. So.. this means that by late 2000.. we could see a port of Magic: The Gathering for the Game Boy Advanced with network capabilities, or *gasp* a much needed Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game. Should be interesting. Personally, I think that a networked M:TG for the GBA would not be DOA; but instead IMHO would cause a resurgance for the game that has been MIA for a while. Anyways, I want to remind everyone that there are about 20 games for the Game Boy Color coming out this month.. some are already out. Hot titles like Yoda Stories, Survival Kids, Duke Nukem, and more. Just so you know.. I would hate to think that everyone was short on cash and couldn't buy all the really cool Game Boy Color software coming out this month... or to think that some people would miss out on Revelations: The Demon Slayer, or Deja Vu 1 & 2 (Later this month), and that quirky Worm Light. Yup.. save your money for what is REALLY important.. after all you are going to need to save up for a tent to camp outside the Theatres November 15th, and some even cooler software comes out next month.. like Pokémon Yellow. Yup.. why go waste your money on "anything else" today? Okay... if you made the mistake of buying anything "expensive"; just remember that like any good Republican; you can sell back part of your gun collection to some retailers for the cash you need. Hmm.. Survival Kids is coming.. What? You kids don't own any guns to sell? Here's a smart idea.. why not pawn your parents firearms when they aren't looking. You'll make the place a little safer and you'll have some good money. *righteous snicker* Basically, I am filling up space. Scattered News! In light of VERY little news.. sort of.. we're making this update for people with no attention span. - Nintendo registered the domain name "GameBoyAdvanced.com" today. - Pokémon Card is coming to the states. Release Date is tenative for *gasp* March 2000. - Next September we get Pokémon 2. Guess what date? September 28th, 2000. The same date that the first Pokémon game came out in 1998. - Nintendo announced that they and Burger King will be doing a promotion in November... for the movie. That's good. Because, there's a Burger King about five minutes away from where I work.. and I go there everyday.. all the toys.. they will be mine. Philip:

Daily Muk Unknown to many trainers; there are some unusual little "quirks" to the card game. One would be the card NidoQueen. You can build up a nasty little deck with that card. Just make sure you have enough for energy. Anyways, place 2 Nidoran Females in your deck, and at least 4 nidoran males, two nidorina, four nidorino, lots of Green Energy (Grass), and at least two or more Nidoking cards, and at least one Nidoqueen card.. Now.. if you get a Nidoran female out in to the open.. you cn use Call for family to get the others outside and into the bench. from there.. make sure to evolve them... once you have a bench of Nidokings, that Nidoqueen in play can do up to 100 damage in one turn. Okay.. here's an odd rumour that hit my mailbox; an undisclosed source told m ethat Sakura Wars, and Columns are not the ONLY franchises that Sega is "sending out" for publication on other systems. Ever hear of Phantasy Star? apparently, it's heading to Dreamcast later; but that's not important. A company I can not state the name of right here; because they asked me not too; is planning on porting the original Phantasy Star to the Game Boy Advanced. Okay, one more. Here's a preliminary list of Launch titles for the Game Boy Advanced that I was able to dig up. Most of these are unconfirmed.. it's a little interesting to read, really. It looks nice enough and it will weed out in the up-coming months and this list is Japanese anyways.. here's what I found. Well, if you are someone with a lot of weak pokémon.. Pokémon Center is great; but if you like being cheap.. stock up on "Gust of Wind". Gust of Wind allows you to make your enemies pokémon faint quicker; because you can switch your enemies pokémon around on purpose.. |
