April 2003 Jet Laggin'!
Been extremely tired
for some odd reason. However, I have been working on getting E3 coverage
stuff up for you. I added a lot to the Picture Dump. I also uploaded the
first part of the E3 2k3 coverage thingie
. Enjoy! Oh, Sony announced they intend to ship 10 million units of the PSP
in 2004. While competition is always good, I don't really see much of a future
for the PSP if they don't announce any games for it. So what if it can be
used as a GPS? I don't want a GPS. I would rather play a game. Oh, Craig
Harris from IGN said that the outrageous cost of cartridges may drive developers
toward the PSP. The PSP uses an even worse form of proprietory medium. It
uses Mini-DVD cartridges. All the fun of a DVD in a delicate cartridge! Woo!
At least it saves on internal battery memory by making you buying a Memory
Stick. Yay. Comment?

Technical Difficulties!
E3 coverage has been
slim; but it will be up in it's completion soon. It is being done and worked
on; but it has been slow going due to technical difficulties. Please bear
with the delay! There is also new Squishy too that is going to be up soon
too! Comment?

Metroids Live Among Us.
There really should be a fine line between reality and video games that should
never be crossed. However, sometimes there are things in this world that
cross that line. The following links are about a new species of jellyfish,
called Tiburonia Granrojo. Scientists do not know what it eats, what
eats it, how it grows, or anything other than the information mentioned.
It can grow as big as a yard wide, maybe more. Once you see the picture,
you will know what this thing is. You know, I know. The world is pretty much
doomed! This link
is to National Geographic. This link
is to a smaller report on it. Here are pictures
, a molecular report
, and movies
. Comment?

Just a note on it.
Entertainment Weekly has an interesting feature in it's May 9th 2003. The
feature of note is a list of 100 video games that are considered by the authors
of the article as The BEST 100 Video Games of All Time. The list is dubious
at best. (It actually lists Halo before Super Metroid and Donkey Kong.) However,
the top three games are (1) Legend of Zelda: Link To The Past, (2) Doom,
and (3) Original Tetris. I would like to note that all three of these games
are available on Game Boy. Just further proof that we have the best
library of games in the industry. Comment?!

SEGA: Seen Exiting Garishly Again
Sega has
apparently left Sammy jilted at the alter. Sega, when are you going to settle
down and get hitched? Your worse then that girl who said she didn't want
to go to the prom with... never mind. That's old hat and my aim has improved
since then! Comment?

Quick E3 stuff?
A
ccording to many sources, there are two new GBA games that will debut at
E3. Metroid: Zero Mission and Sword of Fire. Remeber that when you assume,
you make an ass out of u and me. However, let us PREsume. Which means that
I'm not assuming. I'm presuming that at E3, it will be revealed that Metroid:
Zero Mission will either be a prequel or the long awaited game in which Samus
finally hunts down Mega Man. The other, we can presume, is most likely releated
to Fire Emblem. It would be nice to see the action strategy RPG in the US
at last. I hope that all the frustrating elements of the previous games are
left intact. One element that made Fire Emblem unique is that characters
STAY DEAD if the die in combat and that death affects the games story. Well,
we shall see at E3! I will just chock those up into a list of games I am
compiling. Games that must be played! First and foremost on that list, I
MUST play Earthbound 1 & 2, if it is there. Besides, it will be nice
to play Earthbound Zero on something that doesn't freeze when the lamp attacks
you. Comment?

Sammy and Sega in a tree M E R G I N G!
It appears that after being offered chocolates and batting eyes from Namco,
Capcom, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, and Sammy. Sega has decided to giver her
hand in merger to Sammy. Who is Sammy? Sammy is the company bringing you
Guilty Gear and SNK games in the USA. Does this mean influxes of sweet money
for Sega? Who knows? Comment!
