Some shaking going on..
Sorry. First off I would like to apologize for the lack of much of an update tonight. It has been a very interesting week.. and I was just starting to get over my PSO addiction long enough to do something useful.. then.. my keyboard arrived in the mail. If you run into my character in Phantasy Star Online.. you'll know who I am. I'm sure of it. My character is almost Level 20 now. But.. that's not news.. the earthquake in Seattle was news. Depending who you ask, the quake was 7.0 or 6.8 on the richter scale. That last really fatal earthquake in India was a 7.7 or so. THAT'S how bad the quake was. Nintendo's phone lines were off, and several companies packed up for the day. Interactive Imagination, designers of Magi Nation, is on Olympia Square... near the heart of the tremors. Their building has a few cracks, and the building across the street from them collapsed. No one from Interactive Imagination was hurt. A member of Team XKalibur lives near the area... and is not hurt. I did some other checking as well; and a number of the companies in Washington are okay. Some power outages, and typically horrible CNN coverage are all most people suffered. There was one known fatality. A man had a heart attack after the earthquake. The earthquake lasted about 38 seconds; and caused what is essentially, billions of dollars in damage to the city and companies in it. It could have been worse; I suppose. But it was pretty bad. I suggest we take a moment to pray for those people affected by the earthquake. Also, the other day or so.. Mardi Gras.. you people should be ashamed. For shame. I updated the News Archives.. and Snowflake Studios is really takeing off. I forgot to mention.. but as of February 27th.. DMG Ice is (as dmgice) Four years old! We're older then IGN. Hehe. I suppose that's nice. Anyways, the price went up on the shirts. :( Through no fault of my own. I need to take a Saturday, and do sooo much updateing and setting up. Please bear with me, and I thank you for takeing the time to click on over and read this. ^_^ I'll have Viral Speak for you all soon. Just relax. As for Game Boy news? Hmm.. not much I can tell right now. But, I suppose Nyko is mad at me now. Not a big deal for me. I've had companies be mad at me before, I'm used to it. Craig Harris has gotten mad at me. Torus Games was unhappy with our review of Yoda Stories. Is no big deal. I can understand why they were angry and I have been very harsh with companies and people. Mainly; because I say what I am feeling. I also say what I am feeling; because I am given a reason to feel that way. Now, I report the news; but I comment on it as well. You get a combination of an editorial and a news article. I know a "perfect" journalist does not let their feelings on a subject show through in their news. I can be impartial, and I can be cold and unfeeling in my reporting; but I choose ot to be. Because first and foremost.. I'm human. I have an opinion. Too many reporters grow cold, heartless. That's wrong. When was the last time you saw a TV reporter report a tragedy and shed a tear for it. You never see that. It's a damn shame too. It didn't used to be like that. If I came across as mean, or cruel to anyone lately, I would like to apologize. But, I stand by my opinions. I'm sorry if you don't like it. With that noted. I would also like to say something about Bill Clinton. Yes, I didn't like him. The pardons.. as dishonorable as they were; should be grounds for a revocation of his law liscense. But... then again.. we should seek just due course according to our laws. If I were him.. I would come clean on those things. Tis better to face judgement here on Earth. Best face fines, and incarceration, then damnation eternal. Shall we say? I suppose the lack of sleep has made me a bit contemplative.. I know it makes me dizzy and high. When I'm like that.. Oh, yeah. Who's your news daddy! Nintendo announced some SNES ports today. Care people. These are titles you NEED. Hold onto something that is sturdy. Umm.. Lum? Let go of that. Not now.. I'm busy. You'll be busy too. So, instead of useing your hands to draw Relena Death pictures, or watching Keiko Kamen.. use them for playing these awesome upcoming GBA games!

Super Mario Bros. 3 - There is a God. And God plays Game Boy.

Super Mario World - I'll argue with you endlessly on which is better.. Super Mario Bros 4 or Super Mario Bros 3. (4 is World...) And you know what? Both of us win.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - Mmm.. now you can plug in headphones and enjoy Baby Mario's crying all by yourself. ^_^

Yoshi's Story - What can I say.. I thought it was fun. Short, easy; but fun. Can't wait to get Super Happy again, without the use of ACCLE.

Super Metroid - I said it back in January. Believe me when I say stuff.. it usually comes true. ;) Check the article in our archives here. Also notice the mention of another game. Super Street Fighter 2. hehehe. Nintendo of Europe is great.

The new Pokemon Gold/Silver Game Boy Color is out in stores this weekend! Magi Nation should *finally* be saturateing stores; and I highly reccommend you pick it up. I was trying it out; and I hope to get a final copy in my hands soon for a review.. and all I can say is. Wow. You'll be impressed with Magi Nation. Great characters, great Battle Engine, the game is just BEGGING to be quoted on so many levels. The character animation is astounding for an RPG... the music is very good. if you all saw the "spoof" we were given this weekend; you'll be happy to know that the text in Magi Nation is NOT like that. It's very natural, very *very* well done; and -like Mythri- it's a testament to how good American made RPGs can be. Oh, what's up with the cats? =(O.o)= The GBC game also features cards from the Awakening CCG expansion. Sponge Bob Square Pants has a game coming out this week too, and I suggest you avoid it. -PAW-
 

Capcomming..
Hey, Nintendo's online site.. in their special "We really should walk down the hall and LOOK at Nintendo's R&D before we write stuff" kind of way; has announced Breath of Fire, Super Street Fighter 2, and Final Fight for the GBA. Capcom has "no comment" on this. You know what I wanna see; don't you... I want to see a proper Mega Man game on GBA. I would also like to see Konami's TMNT4, Dracula X, and The Simpson's arcade game.. but.. nothing has been said on those yet. :( Oh, Namco's Klonoa is coming to GBA. Are there any mascots we don't have? -PAW-
 

Blargh!
Oh my... I kinda whittle away my free time in PSO and I got some games for $5 each at the local Video Store.. hehehe. I asked and they hadn't rented any SNES games out in a long time so... those could be sold. I got Final Fantasy Mystic Quest so I would have all the SNES US Final Fantasy games. I also got Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4, and Urban Strike. Maybe I'll nab Lufia 1 & 2 next? I also checked out one of those screens for the PSOne. I don't recommend them. I'm going to return mine for my money back. They really aren't worth it. Anyways, that's why there wasn't much of an update tonight. I'm also working on a special for everyone. It'll be cool. You'll like it. -PAW--
