There is a rumor going around that Metal Gear Solid 2 will interact with the Game Boy Color game -Metal Gear Solid aka Metal Gear: Ghost Babel- via a type of link cable. Wow. The Game Boy finally gets an add-on that can play DVDs! Nifty. -PAW-

Nintendo Nation reported the rumor that "Resident Evil 0" will be ported to Game Boy Advanced. It's funny; because of Capcom of Japan EXPRESSLY saying that they won't approve of any Resident Evil port on the portable Game Boy system. This was stated after the cancellation of Resident Evil for Game Boy Color. Take that as you will. Nintendo Nation is also stating two obvius "duh" rumors. You know, anothe Mega Man game, and another Street Fighter game. I mean.. isn't that obvious? Oh, they also mention "Metroid" on Dolphin and Game Boy Advanced. It's actually more likely we will see it on Game Boy Advanced and NOT Dolphin. Think about it. The Game Boy has always been a "cradle" for 2D games, and low-risk innovation. Nintendo is concerned about their Japanese market.  Metroid didn't sell well in Japan. It wouldn't help Nintendo to put it on the Dolphin.. ie it wouldn't sell in Japan. But if it were on the Game Boy Advanced, it's low risk, and it would sell in the USA and wouldn't put too much of a loss to Nintendo of Japan. -PAW-

Your Import news..
This should be in Importationality; but I'm working on the Snowflake update for Monday. Anyways.. Konami is releaseing "Pop n' Music Animelo" to Game Boy Color this September 7th. Import it. Do it for yourself. It contains anime theme songs from 1960 to 1990. The full list isn't done yet; but it has stuff from Galaxy Express 999, Sailor Moon (Which is odd.. considering it came out after 1990 in Japan), and more. If its got Astro Boy (That's pretty much a given..), Mach Go Go Go, or Urusei Yatsura.. that would be cool. Of course.. most people would snatch it up like biscuits if it had Dragon Ball music in it..

The next big thing from Nintendo.. is Card Hero. I hope Nintendo brings it here. It rocks. I'm adding new Monsters/Magics to our Card Hero Coverage! Last week was Pokédex 2.0 update time.. this week.. I pull Monsters/Magics out onto the floor for you. Fear #040... FEAR IT!!! Okay.. so there really isn't enough pictures yet; but.. hey.. it's all good. :) -PAW-

That's funny on it's own. But you gotta love their enthusiasm. I'm not a THQ fan. I probably never will be. But, when they explained their E3 strategy recently to MCV.. they made me happy. They explained that they intend to cater toward the Play Station's younger market. As the system is being aimed towards little kids now. (HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA) They also mentioned increased Game Boy Color support; because it's doing better than it's console cousins. At least they got it right. Oh, THQ owns the rights to the Tomb Raider game. It'll be in stores soon. -PAW-

Instant Brain Food
Okay! Reality check time! Game Boy Advanced delayed in Japan? Sure! Why not? It makes sense. Let's say it takes about six months to make a Game Boy Advanced game. A lot of companies -from Hot Gen to Konami to Capcom to Rare- got their kits in May. May to June to July to August where they show off incomplete software at Space World to September to October to November. That's six months. So the system launches in Japan in December with more support. Get it? Most of Nintendo's in-house stuff has most likely already had a few months of work. So, it starts localization in October. You need three months or so for localization. October to November to December. US launch? Ahem. Let's say the most liberal way to say it is that we will see it in Mid February. But, since Nintendo likes to "position" releases. We are more like to see it Mid April. Because Nintendo will have released the last Legend of Zelda Triforce Trilogy game in January, and will still be riding strong sales from Pokémon Gold and Silver from October. Provided there isn't a "backlash"; but hey! I'm buying Silver and Gold. I'm buying two copies of Gold. So I can take one copy apart and put that case on Legend of Zelda 4: "Link's Awakening" DX, where that gold case also belongs. Then I'll use the Black Gold one for Pokémon Generation. "I need a Seribii!" Oh, that Gold case idea was MSTies Anomynous Poobah's idea. He's from Nintendojo and he kicks heavy. -PAW-

It's brown.. and brown. Very, very BROWN. Anyways, Nintendo Co. LTD. announced the formation of "Brownie Brown".. a new Game Boy Advanced developement team. The team is made up of Ex-Square members. The people in that team worked on many games.. including Seiken Densetsu 2 & 3. Which are "Secret of Mana 1 & 2" They are working on an online RPG called: "Magical Vacation" for the GBA and hope to release it next year. Sounds sweet. Anyways.. they officially start business June 30th. Cool. -PAW-
