1. A big word up goes to all those people who wrote into IGN's Pokémon of the Day Poetry thing. Read and see if you recognize anyone.. FINALLY! Something good on IGN Pocket this week. 'Bout time. *snickers*

2. The Pokémon Movie 2000 is cool. Craig is wrong. More puns in this one. And our quote of the update is in it. I got a nice Mew card and I just realized that for most of the movie, Ash is looking for his balls. Oh, well. Lugia is awesome. Oh, the opening Pikachu Movie thingie is cool and there was only one instance where the soundtrack seemed off. Sign me up for the Score. Oh, Melody reminds me of Marin.. I hope Ash guarded his wallet. And yes, there are a few instances where characters seem to suddenly know each others names. But who cares?

Akemi: I heard there was Kireihana.... er... Bellossom in it... That's my favorite Pokémon... kawaii yo!
Adrock: Pikachu will always reign supreme as the cutest Pokémon.
Philip: But, ONLY because I'm not a Pokémon.
 

3. I think you should buy Survival Kids. Do it. Do it NOW! Did you like Survivor? Want to play something that's better? I found you a good price for it..

Akemi: I'll get Survival Kids when my Gameboy decides to work again.  It's on strike or something.
Adrock: Shows like that are boring. Like Survivor. The welfare, junkie, unemployed slackers with no life seem to enjoy it though.
Philip: It reminds me of Real World; which is also kinda.. dumb. To be honest though.. the thing is popular.. so.. maybe I can get these people to buy one of the BEST Game Boy Color games.. EVER... if I mention that the show has a similar theme to Survival Kids.
 

4. Warlocked hit stores and it has more in it than Warcraft did. Go buy it you RTS loving people!

Adrock: This 30 bucks has Warlocked written all over it!
 

5. Viral Speak can not be broken; but it can be fixed. That way it won't breed....

Akemi: Get it fixed NOW... one Viral Speak is enough.

Adrock: PS had N64 whooped because of the CD format pretty much. Now that Nintendo games are on DVD's, Square will come running back to Nintendo. That is my prediction.
Philip:  Play Station has Square. Plain and simple. Square is as stubborn as Nintendo is.. oh, well.. Square is going to keep the PS2 alive; because MGS2 isn't PS2 exclusive. Oh, I overheard at E3 that even Square is having trouble codeing for the PS2. If Konami, Capcom, and Square are having troubles.. umm.. ouch. Oh, for Techni, the PS2's main chip could "theorotically" out perform a super computer.. if it were attached to different hardware, like something other than the PS2. Just like in theory, it would do jack squat attached to a toaster. Got it? The PS2 as hardware has a smaller ram cache than the Dreamcast and is tougher to program for than the N64. The first waves of games look light years behind N64/Dreamcast/Current Play Station ONE games. With full effects and actual programmer math, the PS2 gets buried by the Star Cube's early stats. And if this rant is getting too long for you.. let me narrow it down for you. Forget the PS2. It is nothing good this year. If you really want one, get it next year. Use that money and import a Game Boy Advanced. (Which has a better sound chip than the PS2.)

It's late and well.. tommorrow, I have a ton of reviews for everyone and some preview goodness! Some games have been announced for the GBA. Yippee. Most notable of all is the Foggy Horror Game.. Silent Hill. I trust Konami not to be stupid with a Survival Horror game.. unlike a certain company *cough* Capcom *cough*. Oh, because it was such a slow day and I was kinda bogged for time and had a lot of HUGE reviews to contend with -as you will see tommorrow-.. I'm leaving Friday's news up below. -PAW-

Tired.. just leave up...
Go see the movie this weekend! A lot of people that hated the first one are saying this one is better. I saw it, and while I am appalled by the complete removal of the enviromental/religious elements... 4kids did a fairly decent job.. not good.. decent... and... sign the petition! What is it with the Pokémon movies? I mean, aside from the Tellytubby-esque mini-movies.. the main movies are all heavy. Mewtwo's Conterattack was about Death, and the Ethics of Cloneing. (NOT fighting is bad..) The Explosive Birth of Lugia was about the Enviroment and Greed. And Lord of the Crystal Tower is about Death, and Love; supposedly. (Wouldn't doubt it..) I mean.. seriously.. and it gets DUMBED DOWN for US audiences.. what a flipping insult.. oh, wait.. I forgot.. America, or rather the USA, was founded solely on Puritanism.. where as Europe and Asia are founded by mixes of ideas. Lucky people... those Europeans and Asians. They get their stuff straight. Okay.. not really... I've heard of stuff being dumbed down for some countries. Try and find a copy of "Maus" in Germany.. or certain Japanese Monster movies... in North Korea. Or Bubblegum in Singapore.. sheesh.. what type of world do we live in.. if we keep isolateing our cultures?
