Love & Bullets.
Well, I've worked almost 35 hours in three days. Yay me.
So, I check my e-mail, weed through 500+ spam and recieve an e-mail
from the IGDA. Well, many people may not know this; but I do Game
Scenario and Game Control Layout Design as well as storyboards, and
other such stuff. I also try to lend a helping hand to small developers
whenever I can and I have done consulting for a few large companies.
So, I am registered with the International Game Developers Association.
They have an awards show at the annual GDC (Game Developers Conference)
and I recieved a randomly sent final ballot. I would have listed the
rest of the games in the categories I voted on; but I think that if you
read this site than you probably also read Nintendojo and they have a
full list. Here's the ones I voted on. Please feel free to yell at me
for it.
Game of the Year: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Original Game Character of the Year: Jade from Beyond Good & Evil
Excellence in Audio: Koji Igarashi and Ms. Michiru Yamane for Castlevania: Lament of Innocence

I burst out in laughter when I saw these news bits. However, I shall
try to be *snicker* Fair and umm.. Balanced.
Nokia has set an "experation date" on the Nokia NGage. The system has
until November 2005 to sell anything remotely resembling decent. Nokia
origanlly thought the NGage would be a success; but has withdrawn that
comment to take a stance of waiting. The November deadline will
determine if it was a success or an OBVIOUS failure.
Sony has delayed the PSP launch in the USA and Europe until 2005 in
hopes of procuring games for it that would appeal to those audiences.
Good Luck, Sony. Bwa ha ha! Oh, Viral Speak soon. Hell, it'll probably
be a joint Viral Speak; because Hbomb's birthday is coming up. He

Love is patient.
Hey, this week was toughness for me and this is an update
on FRIDAY THE 13th! (DOOM!!!!!) Oh, send your home address to
philip@dmgice.com if you want to recieve a card of your choice from the
four Valentine's Day cards in your mail - signed with a special
message- from Philip, Squishy, and all those crazy viruses that live in
his closet. Completely free. Sending the address allows Philip to send
you special DMG Ice Christmas Cards and other holiday cards later on.
(Also.. it sets you up for the secret project due later this year.
Trust me, you'll like it.) Oh! Download the four cards and then print
them out as you like. They fold the card in half and then in half again
to create a definate front, inside and back. Once this month goes into
the News Archives.. the cards DISAPPEAR from this site. So, collect

Sammi (Or Sami, Sammy, Domino) may be our multi-named DMG
Diva; but that doesn't mean we will forget about January's Diva! For
those who missed the news: We want to reinstate that a Metroid Manga is
ON THE WAY from Tokyopop
in August. Most likely, the Manga will be shown at E3. Hopefully, it
will be the New Official Japanese one. For those who are lost now:
There is a brand new Metroid Manga in Japan. It's also available as an
online e-Manga in Flash. Here's some links. Enjoy! Oh, BUY Zero
Mission. It's damn good. Unless you actually believe the negative crap
that passes as "professional" reviews these days at some websites.

Lieberman. No one loves him. Only he could have prevented another
Columbine! He decided to drop out of the race to win the chance to lose
to Bush. Will we miss him? Naturally. Does Lieberman have no balls? You
betcha! I guess this is the point where I talk about the Night of the
Living Kerry, or poke fun at Herr Edwards the new Hitler. (Seen his
policies? O_O) But, instead: I SLEEP! Send me comments on Lieberman's

February! This month marks several big things! The 14th is "Thin The
Population Day" -remember to spay and neuter your roommates- and the
27th is our SIXTH birthday! Just imagine! Only 15 more years and DMG
Ice can legally drink like a fish! YAY! (Not like we're not doing that
now. Bah!) So, here's the deal, YO: Every news headline will have the
word LOVE in it this month, just to make you SICK. We will have
