Philip, you're lovable
webmaster, got Super Monkey Ball Jr., Sega Smash Pack, Boulder Dash EX (YAY!),
Pocky & Rocky With Becky and the first DVD of Fruits Basket for Christmas.
He got his sister Sarah the 60th year edition of Dumbo (Her favorite Disney
movie) and his sister Bethany a Target Special Edition RED Game Boy Advance;
so now all his siblings have GBAs. -PAW/12/25/2002-
Radio GBA.
Sort of. Square is going to be running
a radio drama in Japan starting from January 4th, 2003 and ending March 29th,
2003. The radio drama is called Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Radio Edition
and is based on CHOCOBO'S WONDER ADVENTURE. (Not really.) It'll probably
be collected into a three or four CD set after the last broadcast, so importers
should save their pennies and brush up on inevitable fan translations.

Well, Square as shown off shots of
Seiken Densetsu.. which -like we said a loong time ago- is a prettier port
of the old GB one called Final Fantasy Adventure. Which we have two reviews
of in our reviews section. Our Previews section would have gone up tonight..
but it ran into a snag.. when it does go up though.. we will debut the VERY FIRST screenshot of Mythri for GBA! See you later today with that screenshot! Be prepared! -PAW/12/17/2002-
Masters of the Winds..
Fly away, to a rainbow
in the sky. Gold is at the end for each of us to find. There the road begins
where another one will end. Hear the falling snow, who will break and who
will bend. If you caught that reference.. you rock too. Anyhow, the road
begins for Team XKalibur, Pocketeers, and the road ends for Crawfish and
Runecraft. Meaning.. that where those previous two are just beginning their
main journies into greatness or ruin.. Crawfish and Runecraft are dead and
well.. dying. Runecraft had a perfect version of Scrabble for GBC and Crawfish
gave us Street Fighter Alpha for GBC and Street Fighter Alpha 3 for GBA.
Crawfish is closed for good although some of their projects may live on.
Runecraft is "reconsilidating".. that's called "dying" in the real
world. That's like saying the XBox is "doing okay" in Japan. Well, here's

to GBA from the people behind Tony Hawk Pro Skater on GBA. Rejoice. RPG Maker
is coming to GBA in Japan. Rejoice. In Japanese. After much playing, I can
safely say that you must run out and buy Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past,
or I shall maketh thee to fall on thy sword. Rejoice. In Hylean. Just thought

Hey! You like RPGs? I know I do! Well, guess what! MYTHRI IS COMING TO GBA IN DECEMBER 2003. You see, they have a publisher now. That publisher is Variant Interactive
. Variant is also making an XBox game called Mythos. Anyhow, Team XKalibur's
game will finally see store shelves, and it's about damn time. I rather
enjoy when smaller companies make victories. I was cheering on Wayforward's
Shantae with lots of Viral Speak support, so you can bet that you're going
to see a lot of Kageru, Abel and friends in 2003. I also need to remake that
image at the top of the page. Mythri
will feature all the RPG we want; but it is unknown if it will include a bag of complimentary chips at this time. -PAW/12/04/2002-

hours pondering on what it all could mean? Well, check out this site
! Yup, it's Team XKalibur sporting a fancy logo, a heartbeat-like light and
what could either be a new song from Prince or a title that will bewitch
the mind and ensnare the senses. (Stopper on Death not included.) "There
is Hope in Love" is the phrase, and I'll break down what I think it could
be. Mythri had a theme to it.. and that theme was essentially love, sooo
could it mean a revival of Mythri? Will you finally get a chance to witness
this great moment in Game Boy history? (Exerpted of course from a list of
great moments in Game Boy history that will be unleashed next year in regular
intervals.)

"It must suck..." (Team XKalibur) - At this time.. this game is without a
publisher; but having played the Publisher demo.. I have to say.. this was
a particularly cool moment. It beat out Abel's "Crap. That was supposed to
make you say yes." remark. Abel and Kageru just finished beating a cave beast,
and saving a little boy from certain death. They get a thank you; and Abel
wants CASH, money. He gets only a thank you. So.. he's mad, the Kageru drags
him outside, listens to Abel fume about not getting paid and says: "It must
suck to live in Hell like that." Priceless delivery by the master of cynicism.
Simply put.. brilliantly written.
Whatever it turns out to be.. please be ready and beware! We'll definately make it known unto you. -PAW/12/03/2002-
Lose your will to live.
Hey, there's a Magi-Nation
cartoon coming soon to select channels near you. But.. as the redesigned,
non-flashy Magi Nation website has shown.. it's all CGI and -so far- will
remove your will to live
. One reason I started covering animation on this website is because a lot
of quality Japanese animation is based on Game Boy games and vice-versa.
Everything from Chobits to Hamutaro to Love Hina to Domokun is on GBA in
Japan and every new American animated series or movie ends up with a GB game
at one point or another. So, it seemed natural. Looking at this animation
for the new Magi-Nation TV cartoon makes me a little sad. Magi-Nation has
a rich and colorful enviroment and the art on the cards is spectacular. I
would have prefered they use traditional cels or at least some better looking
CGI models. This and the refurbished version of the first game that is being
released in Japan
for the GBA.. make me a little sad. I like Magi Nation
and I would rather see a sequel game an and a better looking tv series. But,
what can I do about it. Although, I should be more positive.. the series
doesn't come out until Fall 2003.. sooo it has plenty of time to get pretty.

Sweet Release: Zelda and Sucking..
Well, Legend of Zelda:
A Link to the Past and Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland both arrive for sale
today. So if you have the dough left from drinking... err.. "Holiday Shopping.. enjoy some fine video gameage from way back in the day. The first on the plate is:
The Legend of Zelda 3: A Link To The Past. This is a port of the old Super
Nintendo game with some added elements, such as new sounds and a whole new
Four Player game. Also due out at the same time is Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland,
which is a "reimagining" of Kirby's Adventure (An NES game that 90% of our
readers probably have never played. Both are good stuff. You know.. tasty,
sweet, fun to eat.. like Samus. -PAW/12/03/2002-

A Christmas Miracle.
For which you must all suffer.. anyhow, I
had planned on a huge extraveganza of reviews and library content and debuts
and such. But, Christmas Eve, I was involved in a three-way.... car accident.
There were no injuries and my Geo Metro was the only car involved that was
able to drive afterwards. What happened was that I was picking up some napkins
for the Knob Noster McDonalds, so I was travelling to Warrensburg and it
was slick and icey. Normally, ice is no problem for me and I was driving
slowly to avoid fishtailing. The car in front of me, a greenish blue car,
was also driving slowly, so I drove slowly behind it in the right lane and
then a silver Civic in the left lane smacked the back of my car and then
plowed past and hit the car in front of me. all three cars spun and the greenish
blue one hit the side of the bridge that we were crossing over and then spun
off into the left hand lane and stopped. My car was spinning toward the right,
so I moved my wheels to the right to stop the spin. I saw the silver Civic
spin into the right hand ditch and smack sideways into some trees, and then
my Geo fell into the same ditch and in to some bushes. The funny thing is
that I had a large cup of coffee in my cup holder and it didn't spill..
even after I ended up in the ditch. The Geo has a crack in the back bumper
and a large dent over the left front tire well. The Civic has a bent tire
axle and damage to the back left of it and the front of the car. It *had*
a custom spoiler. It doesn't anymore. The greenish blue car was the worst
fareing in the accident as it looks like someone took the jaws of life to
the front of the car and the entire left side of the car. The right side
of that car, from the right door to the back, is okay. The driver of that
car has USAA insurance -a military insurance company- so she's more than
okay. She was very traumatized though and I think she deserves some prayer
and support. I was still on the clock at McDonald's sooo it looks like McDonald's
will pay for it. The guy who hit my car has State Farm. However, he looks
like he's loaded, so.. he should be alright. It could have gone much worse.
I was able to pull the car away from hitting any trees as it spun and I must
say that I'm very happy to be alive and able to give you all an update today.
However, the last three presents.. they will be presented on Three King's
Day. Which is January 6th and is a foreign holiday celebrating the arrival
of the Three Kings to give Baby Jesus the gifts of Frankenscense, Gold, and
