Couldn't breathe Mud.
We're running behind.. or
are we? Tommorrow some reviews, but today.. I have well.. I did some stuff
for the Snowflake Studios.
Added DMG Files Artist Comments, and the Viral Speakers Archives online.
Oh, and there are two new Ice Box comics! As well as umm.. I was working
on a large Viral Speak.. and umm... I took a look at Meowthar's Comic and
it'll show up in Snowflake Studios soon. Bwa ha ha! Anyways, I've lost
a ton of Game Boy Mafia submissions. If you have submitted a site for it
and have not heard from me or been put on it yet.. write me back. I mean
it. ^_^ And umm.. I um.. I.. I DID NOTHING.... *sob* But, I had fun.. Adrock
is working on the Pallet Gym stuff.. so it should be up by the end of the
week.. well.. some more of it anyways. Umm.. LOOK! Poppy Seed! -PAW-
Never mind.
(12/12/2000:3:55AM)
I tried that type of updateing
and I hated it. I do, however like dateing articles. So I'll do one more
date. Yeah.. I DO update at odd hours.. don't I? Back to updateing normally!
Anyways, since you've been really patient.. I'm letting Adrock pretty up
some of the Pallet Gym Fan Fics for later this week.. and besides a Snowflake
Studios update.. there are five new reviews
in our reviews section. ^_^ I'm leaving yesterday's "updates" below so
you can enjoy them. The reviews are games like Cannon Fodder, Donkey Kong
Country, Ultima: Runes of Virtue and other things.. Oh, good. ^_^ I may
be near broke.. but I'm happy. I was worried too much.. I'm teetering over
the ledges here; but I'll make it. I always do, God willing. I always land
on my feet. -PAW-
A little more a-saleing..(12/11/2000:10:45PM)
Woody Woodpecker Racing,
Project S-11, Force 21, The Emperor's New Groove, and Grand Theft Auto
2 have all shipped and should be on shelves this week. YAY. There you go..
-PAW-
Games and Ship.
(12/11/2000:10:10PM)
Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Robopon:
Sun Version from Atlus shipped today. It has a built-in alarm, speaker,
and Infa-red port so it can communicate with all sorts of devices, and
it can tell you when it wants attention. Heh. That all sounds okay.. but
whether or not fancy gadgets make a game GOOD remains to be seen. Oh, for
those wondering Dragon Warrior 3 is coming to the USA.. expect in this
summer. Oh, some sales data too! What games sold well this from November
19th to the 25th acording to the NPD TRSTS? Here you go.
10. Mission: Impossible
9. Rugrats in Paris
8. Frogger
7. Powerpuff Girls: Bad
Mojo Jojo
6. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
5. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
2
4. Donkey Kong Country
3. Super Mario Bros. Deluxe
2. Pokemon Silver
1. Pokemon Gold
Mission: Impossible's price
of $6 at an enormous amount of retailers.. has pushed it into the list.
The Rugrat's made an ill-deserved showing. Frogger made it to the list,
despite Frogger 2 being superior. Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup beat
back a lot of competition to end up in Seventh. Tony Hawk skated away with
6 and 7. Donkey Kong Country, despite only being available for a little
more than half that period, came off with fourth place; because DK is just..
like that.. ya know? Mario evaded Donkey Kong; but the Gold/Silver knock-out
punch was too much to handle. Yellow, Red, Blue, Pinball, and Card got
beaten back by a lot of things. It remains to be seen if Pokemon Puzzle
Challenge can regain some Pokemon ground. -PAW-
Tex's Instruments!
(12/11/2000:9:45PM)
Slitherine, the name has
nothing to do with Snape. Anyways, you like their comics? Sure you do.
They now have the THIRD T. Tex comic strip up! Go read the adventures of
our favorite Cowboy with no face. Then check out their contest and see
if you can write a better story than Slitherine. -PAW-
Sound it.(12/11/2000:4:00AM)
Radio
DMG updated. Just wanted to mention it. And Snowflake
Studio is running a little behind.. Keenspace had some server difficulties;
but that's caused by traffic to them.. some of those strips get tons of
traffic. More later!.-PAW-
Welcome to New.(12/11/2000:12:40AM)
You with us? Okay.. good.
Here's the deal. We're going to be updateing articles a bit differently
now. To make sure there is plenty of content, and so I can get another
job safely because my funding has been cut by 90%; we're changeing how
news is covered here. See those numbers to the right of the newsity title?
That's Month/Date/Year/Time in Central Time. That is writen in non-intrusive
Dark Grey. That's means that we updated. Staff Comments can be sent and
put up at anytime of the day that the article was put up on. We have an
article limit of twelve and we're stepping up news coverage and stuff like
that. I suggest when you do read this that -even if you don't believe in
a supreme deiety- say a little prayer for a company. They could use some
help. And for those who day-trade or buy stocks.. those in the know buy
SNOW. Screw Intel, they aren't as realistic with their loses as they should
be. I'm sure it will pay off; do it for Foy. Or be a jolly supporter and
visit Snowflake Studios and
then rant and rave to the nice Mrs. Crosby about how it's Keenspot material.
If it helps.. tell Chris I like Alf. Or buy lots of stuff from our store.
Oh, to Snowflake Studios Artists. Check out the place that hosts the DMG
Ice store, and make your own merchandise. Why? Because, that's cool, it's
free, and I would kinda appreciate it if you put down that I referred you.
*grins* I'll also link to the stores on Snowflake Studios and you'll get
a chance through Snowflake Studios (An off-spring of dmgice.com) to make
some money. I KNOW everyone likes making money. So, I'm urgeing our current
run of artists to make stores. ^_^ Hey.. I know I wouldn't mind a nice
Ambidextrous Paul and Ivan Mousepad, or a Viral Speakers Shirt. But, those
aren't my own strips and if I ever wanted to sip coffee out of a Usual
Supects Coffee mug, or toss a DMG Files shirt into the laundry. I think
Josh has a store for The Nolans, and that's cool. Maybe he should also
sell Lieber Man shirts? Come to think of it.. with the election mess as
it is.. most Democrats would love a "Face my Super Lieber B*tch Slap!"
shirt, and most Republicans would enjoy a "Shouldn't parents decide?" shirt.
The gears in my head are turning! Check back later for most awesome more
updates! And I'm going to tell you what you need to buy this Christmas.
As for what I said I would get done this weekend.. I apologize. I got a
check Saturday and well.. I was in a really deep depression.. then I got
really tired and well.. I'm better now. I've got some other things up my
sleeves, and it's time to roll up those sleeves and let those ideas loose.
I may have gotten knocked back a few spaces this weekend; but I'm coming
out swinging now. -PAW-

Exploitation Now!
Heh. Anyways, check out
this
article at Democrat Funded Media Source "CNN". Remember that when
you read it, this is CNN. CNN is an extremely liberal news source. I prefer
MSNBC to CNN. I prefer Chat Newsgroups to Fox. (Although those are basically
the same thing.) After you read the CNN bit, read
this review at Daily Radar that I saw and couldn't help but like.
I'm almost tempted to buy that to review it myself. I just might.. this
line convinced me. "If you don't tell them, they try and guess. It's all
very disturbing." I like disturbing. ^_^ -PAW-
Ice
Blue: It's Akemi's birthday... let's dance... and forget everyone
else's birthdays on their repected dates.
Akemi
yawns.
Philip:
Well.. actually.. Akemi's birthday was the 13th; but today is the 14th.
Pallet Gym?
Hmm.. I wasn't sent all
the Pallet Gym Fanfics.. and the site wasn't really closed. Hmm. Click
here
to see all the fanfics as they were. I only got a handful of them. Apparently
only Dragon Coin Winners. But since this is up still, I know what order
some of them were in. After reading more into some of these.. what is everyone's
obsession with hooking up Ash and Misty? Some of these are almost lemons.
O_O But, oh, well. We'll put up what we have, when we finish it. It isn't
easy. Josh uses a different archiveing system. He uses numbers. 1 through
100+ or so. I like to use numbers only for certain things. I use names
for archives in the Memorial. Because I gotta remove the previous CheatPlanet
Ad banners. I'm useing a Folder name with 1,2, etc inside. So, My Best
Friends would be /mbf/index.html then mbf/1.html and so on. Josh was useing
something where mbf would be 21.html, then 21a.html, 21b.html, and etc.
It's all very confusitating. So, if you're waiting for new updates to the
older ones, be patient. It's a technical difficulty. -PAW-
Ice
Blue: You know... I should read it before I comment... but I'm
too lazy.
Akemi:
Join the club..
Philip:
I should read them before I write them.. oh.. wait.
Mi Familia.
Listen, people. The
Game Boy Mafia has induced two new members. Give a look to "All
Game Boy, All The Time", "Game
Boy Zone", and "Game Boy
Camera Central". And for those who applied and aren't in yet..
send your information again please. -PAW-
Ice
Blue in a weak voice: We will take care of you, because we are
family...
Akemi:
Welcome to the gang.. We'll be sending you the tattoo design you have to
get on your butt soon.
Philip:
Or on your right ankle like all members.. bwa ha ha!
Finally.
You can exhale now.Viral
Speak has updated. Oh, it's a special one. ^_^ -PAW-
Ice
Blue: Speak your Viralness.
Akemi:
Ooh... Special....

Shooting
off.
Howdy
Ho! Anyways, this is Philip and I'm going to talk and rant a little. Just
saw some pictures of Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. I think she looks more
like Lt. Ripley in the first Alien movie; but with different hair. I'm
sorry... that's just my opinion. I would like to say that the latest sales
data in Japan looks nice. With Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters in it's newest triad
of incarnations taking all three top spots, followed closely by Dragon
Quest III. Not bad. The Wonderswan Color sold in fifth with it's Final
Fantasy remake. I thought so. The Wonderswan Color and the game are selling
at a 1:1 ratio. In other words, people only want it for THAT game. Final
Fantasy Wonderswan came in Sixth place. Game Boy Color effectively shut
out the four slots in Top Five. I also got Lunar 2 in the mail today. YAY!
Raise your hand if you would love to see Working Designs do stuff on the
Game Boy Color. I know I would. And that is one of the reasons I didn't
really update tonight.. enjoy old news! Oh, Sgt. Rock got released. Yay.
Lunar 2 is in stores now too. I suggest getting it. Snowflake
Studio.. as usual... updated! -PAW-
New
STUFF!
Okay,
look at the bottom of the page. Notice that Netword thing? Why not check
it out. .
Okay, it updated earlier; but hey.. I forgot to mention the new AT Freak
Show and Ice Box: Next comics! YAY! -PAW-
Delugia
La
la la. .
Okay.. here's a bunch of them. Just a lot. Oh, I would also like to mention
something from Famitsu. Everyone likes to quote Famitsu. Everyone likes
to show you their review scores. Even though they have the same limp-wristed
review
scheme as EGM. (I'm sorry, I just don't like their review system.) Ahem.
Grandia:
Parallel Trippers = 6-6-7-5 (24 / 40)
Pocket
Monster Crystal (Nintendo, RPG) = 9-8-8-9 (34 / 40)
Those
scores meant that while playing Grandia: Parallel Trippers, reviewer number
four must have been going through some tough time or was currently recovering
from a successful lobotomy. We wish him a speedy recovery. Remember that
Famitsu isn't accurate at all. It's a lot like a butterfly ballot. Famitsu
gave Perfect Dark (N64) a very not perfect score a while back. So, trust
on your own. In that matter.. here's a ton of our own reviews from our
readers. -PAW-
Philip:
These are the reviews I meant to put up earlier. There are eight new reviews..
and that leaves.. well.. I still have over ten reviews left in backlog..
O_O I'll get them up soon too. ^_^
Special
Note!
I-Land was doing some matinence
or something.. anyways.. they cut me off online and I wasn't able to get
back on until 4AM. O_O So, I wasn't able to get all the stuff I wanted
to get up tonight. :( BUT! It's a weekend! YAY! I did update Snowflake
Studios! -PAW-
The NewKidCo Stops Here.
NewKidCo has shipped two
games, now run very fast and away! The first has Nickelodeon's old pre-Rugrat's
poster boy Doug Funny in his own little game with "20 gameplay enviroments".
(Which means.. levels) As our hero tries to save his girlfriend Patti Mayonnaise.
He gets to be "Quailman" in the game too. Unfortunately, it doesn't have
any levels where Doug must protect the two or three fans he actually has
from evil corporate ABC Borgs bent on making his show even worse. The second
game is based on the PBS show "Dragon Tales". Having never actually cared
to tune into PBS, I have no idea what the show IS. The game does have 15
levels and "challenge and fun". Go figure. Anyways both "Disney’s Doug:
Doug’s Big Game", and "Dragon Tales - Dragon Wings" are rated "E" for "Elegy"
and have a Suggested Retail Price of $29.95 respectively. -PAW-
Jazz:
Although you may want to ask for a recount on that.
Philip
takes the stick away from Jazz: Let the Dead Horse be!
Developers gnaw on GBC.
Remark "Delicious!". Okay,
here's a bit we missed. Konami off-shot "Treasure" wants to work on Game
Boy Advanced games. Treasure makes games that are awesome. Yes, they do.
Some of the people in Treasure were responsible for early games like Castlevania,
and Contra. I'm just hoping for a Mischief Makers game for the Game Boy
Advanced. This also brings me to say something about the Wonder Swan. (Which
is headed for the states around the Game Boy Advanced launch.) Final Fantasy
and Digimon are nothing compared to a system that has Enix, Rare, Nintendo,
Konami, Capcom, Sonic Team, Treasure, and more working on games for it.
In Europe, a company named "Rage" announced Game Boy Color projects. They
made some Dreamcast games called "Incoming" and "Expendable". Hopefully,
that's not a commentary on the company. Anyways, they are making three
titles. The first is called "Music" and in the game you are sent to assassinate
Madonna for making the album by that name. Oh, wait. Sorry, that's not
right. The game is about composing music and playing music related video
games. It's "Nanoloop" for the masses, if you will. You know I want it.
I think you should want it too. I mean.. you make music with it! YAY! Oh,
yeah.. Pocket Studios (Alone in the Dark for GBC!) is developing "Lego
Racers 2" for the Game Boy Advanced. Good. -PAW-
Jazz:
Me invent wheel. Me make fire. Me make role playing game.
Philip:
I have your stick now.. don't make me use it..
