Hbomb proves he's more than a cheap date by giving us the first of many columns
filled with him being Hbomb. Which means, you have to read it, roll your eyes, and wish it was quality pie. Oh, wait. it IS quality pie. You just don't know your pie. Also, Philip gives up a Viral Speak
! It's a bit.. odd. Also! One new review for the reviews section

Pinball Party! Does it jam masta ways? Or does it are smelly? It's a new
NOT ANIMATION review! Wow. You'd think we weren't a Game Boy site with all
the Suki Nihon buzz. Truth be told that after E3, Video Gaming DIES for a
while; but the Anime conventions JUST start heating up. Odd isn't it? Comment?

New GBA colors in Japan.
Woo. Pink and light blue. Both of which are in the now famous picture from E3. Which is RIGHT here
. That would be all the color variations. Wow. ECTS is starting this week,
so we will get more neatso news soon from there. Hopefully. Oh! For those
wondering -as this also applies to Suki Nihon. The next toy at McDonalds
is Kim Possible. The last, read, LAST toy coming out for that promotion is
Rufus the Naked Mole Rat. YOU SHOULD ALL BUY RUFUS. It's the bestest toy
ever. You can train it to play Game Boy Advance while wearing the Sambreo
of LOVE. Suki Nihon fans also take nbote that for a change of pace, I'm posting
up no new Suki Nihon reviews until the first of September and focusing soley
on expanding our Fan Fictions, Columns, and GAME BOY reviews. Comment?

Balances, Balances? Ah forget it.
One thing about Summer that
I really hate is a lack of substantial news and the HEAT. Lately, I've been
working mostly outdoors in 100+ weather in Missouri. I hate that a lot. However,
as far as the heat goes, it also makes me very sleepy. Summers are more of
a lazy month for me and I honestly should think about getting other people
to help with the site; but enough of that! There has been a slight derth
in the amount of reviews given to the main site and the reviews being given
to Suki Nihon. However, it was needed to beef up Suki Nihon. past the 100+
point and that was the biggest priority at the moment. Unfortunately, it
became difficult to handle a lot of personal life balance with the site life.
Sorry about that. However, to show that there are no hard feelings, I will
try to maintain a 1 to 1 ratio between Suki Nihon and DMG Ice from now on.
So, DMG Ice gets 1 new review for Wario Ware
, and Suki Nihon gets one for Otaku No Video
!. Tommorrow, there should be -if the spirit allows- a new Viral Speak, a
review of Sonic Pinball Party (Which has not left my GBA since I bought the
game a month ago.) and a review of a randomly selected anime title. For those
expecting some news, well... I'll tell you what big stuff I've been anticipating.
While some of the things released lately have been downright ho hum. September
is a big heating up for me. SHINING SOUL, FINAL FANTASY TACTICS ADVANCE,
and a large selection of healthy anime titles for me to take care of as well!
It's also when the thermometer starts to get colder, and we get to HEAT IT
UP here at DMG Ice. And if the lack of updates here frustrates you at times,
please don't panic and instead.. emerse yourself in our rapidly updating
SNOWFLAKE STUDIOS. Oh, this September, we will be closing the forums for
a short period of time while we address the problems that have arisen because
of flagrant spamming and other such malevolent behaviors. Also, the newsletter
and a new weekly article from HBomb will be arriving soon. Sorry about the
delays. I guess we tend to immitate Nintendo, don't we? Comment?

SUKI NIHON BREAKS 100+
As there is no news really, I figured that I
would try my luck and only put up 13 reviews! Yup! Only 13! More later; but
13 NEW REVIEWS FOR SUKI NIHON. Including but not limited to, FLCL Volume
3, Record of Lodoss War, Dragon Ball Z movies, and even HENTAI. Yes, that
is correctly stated. Animated "porn." Woah, huh? Check out the LUCKY 13 STRIKE
of Suki Nihon! Comment?

For those who watched FLCL on Adult Swim
on Monday, it appears to have been completely uncut. They even played the
Game Boy centric next episode preview. Thank you, Cartoon Network for not
butchering one of my favorite anime. Oh, for those wondering, Suki Nihon
has all three DVDs in the series reviewed. So, go up and check out the update

BIG SUKI NEWS-ON! -new-
Well, I missed the Thursday update because I was trying to figure out what changes I wanted to do to Suki Nihon
.. so.. instead of a major over haul, for now, I'm making it more compact. Well, there is a LOT to talk about! For one, there's ANOTHER Viral Speak
done by Amy-Chan for the "remix" of Suki Nihon. Also, I'm still editing
reviews and I think you'll like it. Also, I'm working on previews and reviews
for the main site! Expect some long over-due reviews soon! Also, more of the
PSP specs were recently released and I'm not impressed. Am I crazy? Naw. I'm
turned off by a few things about the device. The first being Regional Lockout.
A portable system should not have that. Also the idea of system and game
ID is horrendous. This type of ID is used in Everquest Adventures and means
that a game will work only on the first PSP unit to register it to it's internal
system. That sounds like a terrible idea to me. Oh, well. The specs seem
to push it toward a $200 price tag at first. We'll see in 2004; but I'm going
to remain skeptical. Nintendo announced that the GBA is the number one selling
console in the US currentlky. Kind of a bit silly to state what we've all
known for years and claim it's a new development. Well, there is also
a new Torchic GBA coming to a Pokemon Center ONLY in New York City. Fly there
someday, the pollution and high taxation is just.. swell. Comment? -PAW/07/30/2003-

have we been for the last few days? Philip has been asleep, playing Dragon
Warrior on the NES and drinking. What? You want the truth? You can't handle

- New Update Schedule for the main site! Tuesdays and Thursdays, unless special events happen!
- Soon you will be able to subscribe to Zurui's Newsletter and she will clue you in on DMG Ice happenings!
- There is a lot of new At Freak Show and other
comics that will be appearing on Yellow Snow and Snowflake Studios! Also
look forward to an offensive HBNC story line to debut soon!
- Suki Nihon will burst through at the end of
this month. I intend to make it a huge 20+ review update. To offset that
burst, I'm working on an update of Game Boy reviews of similar magnitude.
- I have done some reviews for Nintendojo
's Famicom Special! The reviews are randomly hidden in this batch of reviews
! I hope to do more with Nintendojo in the future. For those who remember, I am an on again/off again Dojo person.
- Amy Red of the Snowflake Studios Comic DIR3 did a Viral Speak and I forgot to give it to you! Here it is

Sailorizing!
Dude! Where's the
reviews? Well, Suki Nihon is bracing up for a HUGE update. I have aquired
a ton of new items to reveiw, including the first season of Sailor moon completely
uncut and uncensored! I've been watching that as well as other stuff for
the big push past 100 reviews! I would like to put out a huge thank you to
Duke for all the reviews that he has written that are going to go up this
weekend with a redesign of Suki Nihon. Also, to celebrate the redesign, Amy

Nintendo
announced they are working on a new F-Zero game for GBA. I yawned; but I can't
wait to play it. There is also going to be an Artic Blue color GBA SP in
Europe. Super Mario Bros. 3 coming along a little later. I am also helping
out Nintendojo on a special project to debut later this month, so please
look forward to reading it on their fine site

News and Booty!
So! How have you
been? I've been good. A little tired here and there; but nothing serious.
Went and saw that Pirates of the Caribbean movie on Monday, picked up a Game
Boy Player on Tuesday, and also picked up the first complete season of Sailor
Moon Uncensored and Uncut. I really suggest watching that swarthy pirate
movie. It's a lot more positive and fun than the other big action flicks
this summer. All of the big ones are too dark and grim. Ah, well. Johnny
Depp is freaking hilarious in the pirate movie. It felt like someone took
parts I loved about The Three Musketeers, One Piece, The Princess Bride;
and then squished them all together and stuck them on a boat. Cool. It has
Zombie Skeleton Pirates. Need I say more? Aaarrrr! Oh! Site stuff? Well, I fixed up the news section! I also put up the New Viral Speak
I had planned for July Fourth; but ended up falling asleep and not uploading! Comment?
