AUGUST 2002 Too bad the food sucks. Wendy's is getting Mario in their Kids Meals starting
this September. it's five neat toys that appear to be better made then their
food. I may sound a little bitter; but most of the Wendy's in my area are
violations of health codes. The promotion runs until the middle of October.
More details, and (large) pictures of the toys are unavailable at this time;
but I'll get back to you on it. Until then, stock up on the Tums and get
ready to collect all five in the most painful way possible. Actually eating
at Wendy's. Oh, God.. give me STRENGTH. -PAW 08/30/2002-
The on switch is down below. Not quite a Persocom; but it'll do! Check out the
Chobits themed Game Boy Advance! What's Chobits? Well, I'm not done with
the romantic comedy series yet; but I do have the manga and the first 11
episodes of the TV series.. so, I'll explain it. Chobits is about a guy named
Hideki, who finds a Persocom he names Chi. A persocom is a computer that
looks human essentially. They come in various forms, and sizes. Essentially,
Chi is what I wish my laptop looked like... a cute girl with white hair,
amber eyes, and a dark secret. Anyhow, the anime is licensed for US distribution
by Pioneer. In Japan, it's still coming out on DVD. It's that new. It may
look to replace Love Hina and DOG as the latest big Japanese fad. The animation
is based on the comic book by the all female team CLAMP. CLAMP is best known
for X, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Card Captor Sakura. Anyhow, look at this
SPECIAL EDITION GAME BOY ADVANCE. Damn, I want one! It may not be able to
think for itself or download the latest porn; but.. I want one. I would name
it Chi and keep it in my pants all the time.. unless I wanted to take it
out and play with it. Please click HERE. -PAW -8/29/2002-
The Shipping News. Shipping out this lovely week is food for the mind with Chessmaster for GBA, which features 2-player link games, 10 different chess sets, 18 CPU opponents, a tutorial, and 150 different recorded matches to watch. Umm.. yay? For those who could care less about Chess.. (I prefer legs myself) Turok Revolution ships to stores as well. It's a shoot-em up for those who don't wanna think-em up or some other thing like that.-PAW 08/28/2002-
Pass me the leg of Nall. Flying kitty drumsticks! Well, for those wondering, UBI Soft ships Lunar Legends... this NOVEMBER in the USA. So, if your hankering to hang out in Merebia, or just get jiggy with Royce.. this is the game to own. The only bad thing is it comes out in NOVEMBER. Or as we should know it.. Gamer on a Budget Hell. Metroid Prime, Metroid Fusion, PSO EPisode 1 &2, Lunar Legend, and many other games come out in that month. I may have to take a week off work to play them all. Althena have mercy! -PAW 08/28/2002-
Catching up. Sometimes, I don't catch news or get behind. Here's
the deals. According to Revolution Software, the two sequels to Broken Sword
(BS2: The Smoking Mirror and BS 3: The Sleeping Dragon) are both in development.
It's nice to know they are being worked on. Also a version of Good Cop, Bad
Cop. Also, Tokyo's V-Jump magazine said that a version of Final Fantasy 3
is being worked on. Big deal. If you remember correctly, Final Fantasy 3
was the one with the stupid twins... FOUR of them. Sure, it's a direct sequel
to the first game and was the first to feature Moogles; but still. We really
would rather have 4, 5, or 6. Heh. -PAW 08/27/2002-
Like Cool World, but not. Remember Comix Zone? It's about a guy named Sketch
that gets sucked into the comic book world to kick ink. Anyhow, it's coming
out in Europe, it'll probably be picked up by THQ here in the USA, so look
forward to it. Although, remember that it's not a good idea to noodle a doodle.

Two Metal Game Boys go round the outside.
Rounds the outside, round the outside. Well, in Japan. They're releasing
a Gold and a Silver one. If you really want to know, the Silver one is JUST
like the Platinum one in the US in color. *holds up Platinum* I guess it's
special nbews in Japan. Although, if I remember correctly, the Pokemon Center
GBA is also gold. But you have to fly to New York to get that one. So, it's
nothing really to care about. -PAW 08/27/2002-
Who wants to be really damn broke?
We do! Let us ponder upon the latest developments in the world of Game Boy.
UBI Soft, as announced earlier.. a loooong time ago.. has obtained the US
distribution rights to Lunar Legends. Remember our April Fools joke a while
back, where we said that there was going to be a port of Lunar: The Silver
Star Story coming to GBA? Well, as even when we are kidding, we are prophetic.
So, be glad you read DMG Ice! When we update, we.. update!
Well, whenever we update. So what makes Lunar Legends so special? Because
it is a port of Lunar. A game that originally showed up on the Sega CD. It
retells the story of Alex, a young boy who wants to be like the Great Dragonmaster
Dyne. On a little excursion to find treasure, with his buddies Luna and Ramus,
he comes across the White Dragon Quark, then all sorts of events happen and......
well.. just BUY THE GAME when it comes out over here -PAW 08/27/2002-
A Poison Mushroom to... Nintendojo! They seem to be wanting to update less than we do. Oh, well.
I suppose it's an interesting news item at the least. After all, if it weren't
for Nintendojo, there would have been no N64.com and without that, no IGN.
This isn't really news, just a "noticed you weren't updating. HA HA HA"
news post. I suppose it's better than Nintendorks.. being.. all.. like dead
and all. O_o. -PAW 08/27/2002-

Randomly Mentioned Quote: "*hands Phil flagpole repellant*"
Well, peace people! Until it is decided on how the new look of the site
will be, this -the enter.htm page- will be your source for news and updates.
Please bear with it. Oh, enjoy it, I suppose? -PAW 08/29/2002
There's heavy changes going on! Just on
a whim, I'm showing my template for a new look for the site. Jazz has already
made one and it looks very professional. After all, he has the tools and
the years of experience and training. Please bear with this for a moment
though. ^_^ Note the kind of clunky, okay.. a lot clunky bar? It's
not too bad. See, I do listen to criticism. Is it too damn small for you?
Get some GLASSES. If you haven't ruined your eyesite playing Game Boy, reading
our comics, and watching anime yet.. WORK HARDER. -PAW 08/27/2002- |
