Getting Forbes.
Hey, just thought I would
mention this
article from Forbes. Interesting, huh? Well, that's why I subscribe
to [Inside], and Wired. Those lack articles of this nature. Three letters:
"GBA". Four letters and a number: "THPS2". Yup. -PAW-
What a lazy week.
Anyways, yeah. Lazy. Definately.
Anyways, I got the next "season" of Fresh from the Ice Box in! It's the
special! It'll debut this Friday on Snowflake
Studios! Oh, yeah! -PAW-
Most likely needs a break..
Well, yeah... okay.. there's
a new Milky Pink GBA coming out in Japan.Yippee. Oh, okay.. content.. well..
expect *something* this weekend. lol. -PAW-
GACK! There is no news!
Yes.. no news.. and
I'm almost level 40.. umm.. I mean.. yeah.. no news. Whatsoever. I've got
almost enough for a new Viral Speak. ^_^ So.. umm.. oui.. oh.. Snoopy's
Tennis comes out this week. OH, before I get more e-mails.. yeah.. the
Lunar thing was a joke. I'm sorry. But.. hehehe. you gotta hand it to us.
We have some very good April Fools things.. don't we? Here's a little link
to ones of the past. Here's 1999
and 2000.
Okay.. not so much good as extremely malicious. Although.. there is no
reason for Working Designs not to try.. you know? -PAW-
The hazards of being Philip.
Yeah.. I get drowned in
e-mail.. I missed this gem on Friday.. should have mentioned it. Anyways,
Working Designs. I love them. You should too. When Arc the Lad comes out..
you shall go and spend $80 on it; because it owns you. Ahem. Anyways, I
sent an e-mail to them saying.. in a nutshell: "Look at THPS2! You could
DO Lunar on GBA with no problem! I DARE you to try!" I got an e-mail back
on Friday with my usual throb of triple digit e-mails.. and well.. they
did a little "demo" of sorts. Anyways, I got sent some screenshots of what
their "demo" looks like. The GBA can handle the main game no problem. But..
the FMVs.. well, they didn't want to work down completely. So, they made
certain FMV's into stills, and a few FMVs... into subtitled FMV. In other
words. they weren't running the voice on the GBA. O_O I think they could
still put in the voice. But.. subtitles.. so classy if they weren't useing
that awful green font for the stills and FMV. I have three shots to show
you! Two FMV and one Still. The stills are letterboxed in a choppy fashion..
but okay.. nice. I hope they go ahead and do this. Speaking of THPS2..
well.. earlier.. Adam is making a lovely preview for it. Gonna rock you
into the next world. -PAW-
Boat
Song FMV.
Meet
the natives.
By
the way.. where DID that blanket come from Alex?
It's Friday night!
And the mood is right. Gonna
have some fun, show you how it's done.. T.G.I.F. Or something like that.
Yeah. Definately. Anyways, step this way into my chamber, baby. Cross the
threshold. Good. Thank you for coming today. Tokyo Game Show 2001 starts
soon; and now there's only an odd 365 (give/take a few) more days until
Tokyo Game Show 2002! Wow. Like.. I'm soooo excited! Anyways, weekend updates
are like always.. expect random content added at random intervals. Oh,
yeah. -PAW-
Adam:
I wish it were Sunday. That's my fun day.
Ice
Blue: Rhymin' and Stealin'...
Jazz:
Philip updates like he's trying to save private Ryan on the weekends...
here's a shot
of DMG Ice from my new system to hold you over.
Philip:
Warning.. too much OSX can lead to blindness.
'Cause some Disarray.
Korg and Zett approve of
this startling cheat/glitch(?) in Magi Nation! Anyways, gems like Power
Gems, or Strength Gems can be bought cheap for $5 and then sold RIGHT BACK
to the store for $18 or more. What can I say? Profit! Get more Spundoli..
or Meseta.. or *thinks for a second* Animite.. yeah.. that's what they
call it in the game. Just how does Tony sleep at night knowing he's ripping
off the good people of the Moonlands? I'll tell you. He leans up against
Furok, hugs his bag of Animite goodness, smiles slightly, and laughs himself
to sleep. -PAW-
Adam:
Consumers

Captain
Ice Blue: What you say!
Jazz:
Betcha didn't know there's an entire Mafia sub-game in Magi Nation.
Philip:
Just when I thought I was out, the Hyrens pulled me back in.
Let her eat cake!
We like our readers. Well,
one of my (Philip) favorite readers is Pikamom. So, I saw this
and HAD to go ahead and mention it. Why? Because I figured she would like
to feed her Pikakids some cake! Cake is good for EVERYONE! Yup. Cake. Mmmm.
OH! If anyone out there has made or is planning to make.. a DMG Ice cake/Pie.
Please, send pics! -PAW-
Adam:
One of my favorite readers is Sock Monkey.
Ice
Blue: My favorite reader is CATS... whom has set us up the bomb.
Jazz:
Oi... overkill.
Sock Monkey sits there
silently thinking Sock Monkey thoughts about Squishy.
Philip
sits there silently thinking Philip thoughts about a lot of girls actually..

There is a conspiracy
against me!
More power and weather trouble!
BUT! I got a new Viral
Speak done! Night all! -PAW-
*sighs*
Okay... I HATE Missouri..
there's a storm, and Knob Noster can't get their stupid power grid in order.
I don't know WHY we pay to put up with them. I mean.. we just had RAIN.
RAIN, that's all.. and the power goes out. Yesterday we had rain, lightening,
and high winds.. but nothing went out. *sighs* stupid, stupid. The worst
part though.. is my paranoid family... they over-react and panic.. *sighs*
I swear... thank God they didn't get caught up in the Y2K stuff. Anyways...
no power... means.. my laptop is in battery mode.. so.. yeah.. no real
update unless the damn power goes back on. *sighs* Oh, well. not like I
can get much done with my parents whineing about the weather. Anyways..
this week Kirby's Tilt N Tumble comes out.. as does.. Legend of the River
King 2. (Which works with Harvest Moon GBC 2) Yay. -PAW-
Okay.
Well, I'm working and working..
so.. here's Viral Speak!
Oh, Mafia member Pokevillage is doing well.. click HERE.
-PAW-
Going Weekendly!
Well, a lot to do. So, here's the update schedule for this weekend!
I'll add "Done" as I do these.
1. Upload the Brand New Fresh
from the Ice Box Special to Snowflake Studios! Oh, yeah! [DONE!]
2. Be lazy! [DONE!]
3. Relentlessly flirt with Danger! [DONE!]
4. Update Viral Speak! []
5. squeeze a preview or two out of Jazz and Adam. []
6. Have Yak update the Hardwhere?
section! [DONE!]
7. Add five new reviews that I should have added earlier! []
8. Drink coffeee [DONE!]
9. Update Radio DMG with this awesome tune from Adam
Douglas. He reviewed the Nanoloop for Pickle IGN, and IGN for Men.
And.. he's a mighty damn good music maker. The tune is called: "Bye,
Bye, Angle Walker" and it is L33+ r0X0r$ /\/\uZ@k!!!!1 It's a 5
Megabyte download. Which means.. it's bigger in size then Mario Advance.
But.. still.. download! Also, add up some Magi-Nation to the good of Radio
DMG []

Well, yeah.
News! The GBA is shaping
up to have a wonderful line-up of of SNES ports. Wonderful. Anyways, here's
a new Viral Speak.
-PAW-
The Good, the Bad, and
the Fuschia.
Hey, here's a little bit
o' News. Slitherine has decided to not continue fighting to release T.Tex.
That's bad. I'll have new Viral Speak for you later today. That's good!
And Nintendo announced that the Milky Pink GBA will make it to the states.
That's Fuschia. *hugs his social life* -PAW-
All For You.
Since Phil is off with his
new-found "social life", I have put together a few articles for you while
I try not to move because of the sunburn on my back. Enjoy. ^_^ -Kemi-
Isn't It Just The Cutest
Little Thing?!
Those of you who shop online
for your gaming necessities and haven't gotten a GBA yet, if you decide
to order from GameStop.com, Babbage's has decided to open up a section
devoted to the new unit. Although, like so many things in life, there's
a small catch. If you want to just buy the GBA by itself, you might
want to steer clear of Babbage's. They may be offering the pre-order
of the GBA, but you have to commit to buying games and accesories--a bundle
pack. Check it out if you don't mind the bundles. -Kemi-
Drop The Beat.
Again with the GBA..
Nintendo's latest tentatively titled game, Game Boy Music, lets you create
your own music and play along with them by hitting the A and B buttons
and the D-Pad, in what seems to be a cross between Jester's Music series
and the Konami Bemani franchise (Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania, DrumManiax,
KeyboardMania, etc.). For those of you who don't really care to create
your own music, Game Boy Music comes with an array of 25 original Nintendo
tunes and 20 "popular music scores." You also recieve a special speaker
bundled with the cart. (Always with the bundles... ) Ah, Nintendo's
really trying to fully use that lovely, lovely GBA sound chip. BUT
WAIT! THERE'S MORE! While you work on your own masterpieces
of sound, you'll get to use practically every string and woodwind instrument
created, including electric guitar, acoustic guitar, distortion guitar,
electric bass, chopper bass, synthesized bass, acoustic piano, electronic
piano, rock organ, violin, viola, contrabass, drum, Latin percussion, trumpet,
tenor sax, vibraphone, trombone, oboe, clarinet, piccolo, flute, marimba,
harmonica and whistle. Whew. -Kemi-
Philip's Bad Fur Day.
Today.. I am king. Okay..
I'm not really; but I would like to think I am. Anyways, I'm not knee-deep
in stuff.. but yeah.. my lap-top needs a little repairs. I'll still be
online a bit.. and I'll still *update*.. but not what you would expect..
I mean.. some Viral Speak.. some randomness. Soooo.. yeah.. sorry in advance.
But.. yes.. I also kinda need a vacation.. to go out into the world and
umm.. yeah. Tonight.. I must admit I got Kirby's Tilt N' Tumble.. novel
idea, novel game.. but to be honest.. it's good.. but I'm not as impressed
as I thought I would be.
Random Thingie from the chat
page.
<Beefy_B> hey
jazz, should i buy FFX or wait for the final fantasy movie to come out
on DVD? I figure they will both have the same amount of gameplay.
Yup. Randomness rules. Anyways,
yeah.. random updates.. not *really* updates.. but yeah. :) Not really
a vacation.. O_O But..yeah. :) See you later! Snowflake Studios will have
a patchy update schedule too. -PAW-

Little News and little
Time..
Those are the ingredients
to make no to small updates.. okay.. no update yesterday.. that was because..
I was amazingly tired.. O_o -PAW-
Eyes on me.
Of course, let me
guide you through the current headlines. *ahem* Crash Bandicoot and Spyro
are -as we knew monthes ago- headed to Game Cube. Why should you care?
Because, as we mentioned several monthes ago, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro and
Tenchu are coming to Game Boy Advance as well. Maybe the console versions
of Crash and Spyro will link up to the Game Boy Advance for something?
Just thought I would remind you it was mentioned monthes ago and today
I'll pretend it's news. -PAW-
Jazz:
Today I thought I would comment on the news, but I commented on the news
months ago. But I'll comment on this news anyway, even though I did it
months ago, I'll just pretend I didn't comment on the news months ago.
Philip:
And it wasn't funny months ago, either. hehehe
Aaaaand... I'm spent.
That's right baby! Yeah!
That's y our good side! Right there! Show me that cartridge slot! That's
right! Oh... um... for the next few days we'll be featuring a brand
spanking new, never before seen original pics of the Gameboy Advance pic
everyday, until the Gameboy Advance is released... or until we run out
of intresting shots to take. -JPC-

Philip:
Oh, of course.
Sock Monkey sits there
silently thinking Sock Monkey thoughts.
I'm not a Scorpio.
You can take on the Scorpion
King anywhere you go now! The Mummy Returns is heading to stores for Game
Boy Color. I'm not completely sure on the quality of the game; but it might
be an interesting pick up if you liked the first movie and are looking
forward to the second movie. Just because I can't resist; if you did buy
it you could say: "There's A Mummy In Every Boy!" I certainly hope Val
forgives me for that one. Peace! -PAW-
Philip:
I wonder if they even read DMG Ice? Probably too busy. But that's okay.
All three of your people still read us and that's cool!
Best to update, already!
We put the deisel in your
unleaded. We the Pop in your Rock and Roll. We put the Britney Spears in
your Ozzfest. And now, we're putting Viral
Speak into your brain. Hold still and enjoy it. -PAW-

July is for Hippies.
And Pokémon fans.
If you're a hippie, or a Pokémon fan.. then you'll like July. Pokémon
Crystal comes out that month. It has the the new option to choose a female
trainer; so all the ladies and insecure guys won't be forced to be male
trainers anymore. It also has good kharma in the nature of brand new pokédex
information, a totally not there new batch of characters (includeing a
villianous person), and new plot points on the Unown. There is even some
most peaceful new animations in battle. You're furry frindly nature buddies
are more animated now. All it is missing is the little crystals to match
the game pack. Can we hear a liberated hippie yell? Or not.. hippies are
kinda lame. -PAW-
Broken Sword?
I doubt you would want to
admit that. But if you are one of the millions of Americans who is familiar
with or owns a Broken Sword... for the Play Station. You will find the
announcement of a Game Boy Advance port to be just a bit uplifting. Well,
bring it on. It's set to debut after the US launch. Good. Steady now. Like
that. -PAW-
Jumping the gun?
Hey! Want some US games
for your Import GBA? Amazon.com will be selling some US software for the
system before the US launch. A few weeks before the launch. Sooo you know
what to do. Just thought you would like to know. Also know that there will
be more news later. So there. -PAW-
