Here's my bio! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll run...
The Infinity Yak: AKA: Sh0gunZ, Mark Stubberly, and
Mark Slevinsky
Here's a page full of pictures, if you really want to know what I look like, and I doubt you do ;) The man behind the Yak: Hi, I'm Mark, and I suppose you're wondering how I got to be where I am at the illustrious DMG-ICE. Well, it all started in June of 1998, when I first set up my GBC-FAQ webpage at: http://members.tripod.com/~Sh0gunZ/CGB where I offered the most well-updated page for GBC news before the release of the GBC. A few months later I decided that I should do more than just host a FAQ, so I wrote a real page (frames and all!) called the CGB-Depot. This worked for a while, until a whole slew of lame emails came in, and I publically humiliated the authors kamikaze style. This action probably wasn't too great, because it got my page banned from tripod. When I finally persuaded them to let me delete the content and keep the page going, there were severe server errors that prevented me from uploading any information. And so the GBC-Depot fell to ruins (or at least has stayed the same for about 5 months now). A couple months later I was talking to a couple of the DMG-ICE guys, and they offered me a position as the HardWhere? section maintainer. Being a fairly technical kind of guy, I decided to take the position. So yeah. I've been here since summer, and I'm still alive, although it's my grade 12 year, so my updates aren't as frequent as some of the other sections ;) Other webpages I've been master of include the wonderous Mod Factor World HQ (My band for 2 years) as well as a little known galaga shrine known as "galagaddicts"- both of which are still up, neither of which you should visit... therefore neither of the links are presented for your enjoyment.
What the Yak enjoys: Besides playing on my GBC occasionally, the Yak has some other hobbies as well. For those of you who don't know, I'm an avid Guitar/Bass player. My equipment is as follows: Guitars:
I enjoy spending time with tall foxy ladies, and even not-so-tall-yet-foxy ladies. If I'm not at my computer, I'm either partying with the forementioned foxes, or more likely playing guitar, doing homework, or other productive things. I like earl grey tea, barbecue, and lasagna. I smoke the occasional Cuban cigar and nothing else! My most favorite game of all time is Galaga, followed by Yars Revenge. I program in C++. I can make a TVantenna out of a pair of stereo earphones. I can make electricity shoot out of my fingers. I've painted the house. I enjoy dancing. I dress up like Shaft (right on brotherman!) just because I can......*check the pictures page* I've been learning how to program the GB,
and a couple of my demos will be up soon, so you can see just how phat
my programming skillz is. Gimme my props!
In Conclusion: I think I'd better stop there before I
digress any further. You probably get the idea though. I'm
not a very strange guy, although you probably wouldn't guess that by the
previous ramblings. Anywho, thanks for visiting my humble page of
